performance is great , but the hose could be a little longer,and more easy to replace I'm just, starting my own small pressure washing business, and my hose is broke a 20 day waiting period for a replacement hose,is bad for business. I have to rent a pressure washer and I own one,all the safety features are great but not any good with no hose. make a hose thats easy to replace instead of 20 day wait.

Remember to read the manual when buying anything at Harbor Freight that has an engine. They contain only a tiny bit of oil not the proper amount.

You must fill the engine with the proper oil before first use. In this case about 1/2 qt of 10w-30.

You must also fill the pump with 70w-90 gear oil. Which is also in the manual but there is no warning.

I think if most people would read the manual and understand that the products that Harbor Freight sell do not contain fluids and that you must add them the might have their product last longer and be happy with it.

I restore old trucks and old tractors.Washer does a good job cleaning off years of greese and grim,and loose paint.
It works great for what it cost,
Used it alot in the past few months with no problems

Works very well for the price. It is a little leaky and some water does get into the oils but with a little maintence it should last a long time.

Cleaned my concrete driveway to like new and the detergent dispencer works great for washing cars

I wasn't expecting much when I bought this, I had a job to do that was bugging me and have read on-line about the high failure rate of power (pressure) washers in general... But I was pleasently surprised when I unboxed this unit and set it up! It has *EVERYTHING* you'd want (that the best other companies leave off). There is a gas shut-off valve, and an electrical on/off switch. The plug cap is heavey duty with it's own handle. Gas tank has a simple float gauge for a quick reference of gas level. They even include a quick connect adapter for your hose.

I suggest using the "Sta-Bil" gas treatment... and I intend to shut off the gas valve and run the gas out of the carb before storing it.

Pressure was sufficient for cleaning the house... if I had an extra $100 to spend, I bet the 2500 psi unit would be better.

Really happy with this unit... I will be interested to see how long the unit lasts... I am also glad that HF has a parts dept where I can get replacement parts. Outstanding!

Works great. I used one of these at my old job and loved it so much that I bought one for home. Only problem is that I can't figure out how to turn on the feeder line for adding cleaning solutions. Directions don't explain either.

If you expect this to run like a pro unit costing 4-5x as much, it will not. If you expect it to be an inexpensive, entry level home unit, and treat it as such, you will be happy. This was never designed to run 30+ minutes full speed, non-stop. It wasn't designed to clean farm and contruction equipment. If you use it 15 minutes, give it a 15 minute rest. It will work just fine.

I've had this washer for two years now and have used it to clean decks and wash houses. The four different nose l's make it diversified. The pressure is very good and can be adjusted buy speeding up the engine or slowing it down. A bit clumsy moving it around and the short hose are the two con's that I find with this machine so far. For the cost I find this machine good for the home owner.

My wife purchased this for an anniversary gift the other day the pressure is ok for most average jobs but the 1/4 in hose is way to short it only reaches one side of a vehice and kinks.....

You can get a lot more machine for the money with a little bit of comparison shopping. For $270-300 you should expect a decent brand and 2500 psi. This thing is a disposable piece of trash just like most Harbor Freight tools. Buy it if you are okay with throwing it away when it breaks.
