Putting it together was easy... getting stuff to stick to magnet, hmm maybe slightly more difficult since I put it in front, tend to knock the tweezers off (may just be me though) Otherwise great buy as always. I bought one of these several years ago and have used it quite a bit in my basement and garage shops. Currently it is being used as a stand for a bench type drill press. The unit is rugged enough to withstand heavy equipment and I have used it as a seat to sit on so it can take 200+ pounds of my weight.





The tool storage underneath is convenient, especially when you have a small shop with not much storage. The top is particleboard so don't get it wet but other than that, I think this is a great item with enough flexibility to be used in any shop.

I originally went to Harbor Freight to buy a certain tool stand for my miter saw--then I saw this item. I was skeptical at first, but convinced myself to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is it really sturdy, but you can immediately mount your bench top tools to it as soon as assembly is done; with the other stands you have to cut and attach plywood.

The price is great; you could outfit your saws and other large tools with money to spare. I also plan to rip some furring strips or tubing and for the legs so I can attach wheels.

Now, the cons: I am by no means a novice, but this joker was a pain to put together. Just like some other reviewers said: assemble loosely, level, and THEN tighten your screws down. It will save you aggravation. Also, the "shelves" are little more than glorified cardboard. I will keep nothing more on them than maybe extra saw blades; I think anything too much heavier will make them bow or snap. The magnetic strips also kinda/sorta suck. On a whim I tried to stick a screwdriver to one and it fell to the floor (lol). But for the price, I couldn't be happier. Don't be afraid to mount your tools to it--it's rated for 1000 lbs!

Don't expect to have this assembled and ready in under an hour...not going to happen. I'd suggest to not tighten everything down as you're going, as it will give you a chance to level it up and add some Loctite to each piece of hardware. This adds some time, but you won't be worried about pieces coming loose.

This is the work stand my bandsaw is bolted down to. Perfect height for me, and a much cheaper alternative to the name store brands.

I have a 2 cycle mechanic that's been using one of these for years to work on small engines, carburetors, etc. I added a magnetic bowl and made new plywood shelves. Perfect height for drill press, band saw. Screws lined up and unit went together easily. But, the shelves are lightweight and will need to be replaced at some point if you plan on using them. Pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent tool stand. Strong & sturdy. I intended to purchase a different tool support (#95128) but when I saw this unit in the store I realized that this stand would be perfect to mount a metal cutting chop saw.

Hints:
1. Throw away the instructions. Just look at the pictures and screw the thing together.
2. Trust me... loosely assenble the pieces and then tighten everything. It will save you some aggravation.
3. The tapped sheet metal braces are not as strong as a typical nut and bolt assembly, so be careful you do not strip out the tapped threads.
4. The magnetized strips are worthless.

I put my Miter saw on this work station table. Fits perfect ! Could use a drill press easily on this table top too. Definitely could put a lot of weight on it. Disregard instructions. pictures help a little. Put it all together "loosely" and once finished, tighten each screw nice and tight. Be careful, screwheads stripped out on a few...so use a lot of pressure on the screw when tightening. Shelves are MAJORLY flimsey ! Could replace shelves with 1/4" plywood, or particle board, or some MDF. Use shelves supplied for a template. Throw away the magnetic strips,,,mine did not work worth a darn...I installed a power strip on the side. That helped and sure is handy ! Plugged in Miter saw, box fan, shop vac. I would buy again...

I have two of these workstations and will probably buy a third. Uses: to hold heavy thickness planer, miter saw, and spindle sander. Adjustable height a good feature. A little difficult to assemble (which cost one star). Magnetic strips are pretty useless, and the cardboard shelves are flimsy but useful for getting light objects like extension cords out of the way. I also like the relatively small footprint -- great for a small home shop.

This is a well built, sturdy little bench! Even the nuts are welded on. I would give it five stars but the shelving pieces are junk, replaced them with some heavier stock added a few casters and I have a great roll away stand for my sander. Got it on sale at the store, went together very easy, and is WELL worth the money!

Its a great workstation, I'm using it with a HF grinder and buffer. once put together its very sturdy. It's better then some workstations I've seen that are double its price.
