We got this wheelchair to take my 94 year old mother-in-law on errands. It folds easily, operates easily and seems to be reasonably constructed. The foot rests work much more easily than wheelchairs we have borrowed from assisted living facilities. Good product at a good price.

I bought this wheelchair to take my mom to her medical appointments and shopping. Then we used it around the house when she could no longer go out. It is very well made and a great deal for the price. It is light enough for me to fold and put in the trunk of my Camry when needed but sturdy enough to use every day. I totally recommend.

This is a fine wheelchair, very well built and a bargain for the money, but...

When HF calls it a 24" chair, I thought that the seat is 24 inches wide. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! This chair is made for smaller, thin people. A "wide bodied person WILL NOT find this chair comfortable. As a matter of fact, it will be so very uncomfortable that it can not be used. It seems that the thin stainless steal sides of the chair expand and touch the wheels as the chair is moving. This creates heat from the friction, which is enough to make a lame person start walking.

Once again, for a small person this chair is fine! If, however, you are a heavier person, don't buy this chair!
