Great value and works good, once you get used to it. Manual contains code list for audio but remote doesn't have an audio key. What's up with that?

Very excited....Found the code for my TV the 3rd try, DVR 2nd try but that was all pointless because I cant find the code for the AT&T cable box. In my home, without the cable box control, the remote is useless. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Bought this for my elderly parents, who are both vision-impaired. The buttons are large and very visible. If only the thing would work!. The manual lists no codes for Vizio TVs--none. The codes provided for Samsung DVDs did not work for the model they had. The functional buttons for the cable box were the on-off buttons and the channel changing buttons, but none of the other functions were supported. In sum, instead of replacing 3 remotes, this was a highly dysfunctional substitute for one remote. And, although the buttons were visible, the remote is so large it can't be comfortably held and operated with one hand, as is the case with most remotes.
My experience with Harbor Freight Tech Support was horrible. They have this system that keeps you on hold for 6 or so minutes and then tells you they are experiencing "heavy call volume" and will call you back within 24 to 48 hours if you leave your number. Good luck with that. Furthermore, that was my experience no matter when I called--even at 6:15 in the morning the next day. I don't think they EVER actually answer when you call, but if this is a legitimate tech suport line that's this busy, they need to hire a lot more people, or else sell products that don't require so much tech support.

Poorly written instructions, no code for my mom's Coby 24" HDTV. HARBOR FREIGHT: You and manufacturer need to UPDATE the codes for modern TV's. This thing would work with old analog TV's, but even we po' folks are getting flat screens (and it probably won't work with digital converters.)

Going back to the store for a refund.

Purchased for an elderly woman with vision problems. Went through the gamut of trying to install to no avail. Neither TV nor cable box would install. I really felt bad for her as I had her hopes up that she would be able to see to change the TV. Oh well, more money down the drain.

Found TV code after about 30 numbers. That's okay. However, Motorola cable box is not listed and went through letting the Remote find the Code and the code did not exist. Very disappointed to say the least. Was looking forward to my elderly mother being able to turn the TV on and off herself.

this device may work with older components but i was unable to get 2 different remotes to work with a total of 5 vizio, lg or samsung components.
