We use this on the job, and it is holding up well. The tri-tap end seems sturdy enough and the wire and sheathing are firmly in their plug ends.

The only thing is the outer sheathing is rather thin, although it has not broken at all. You can just feel the wire inside easily and see the profile of the wire inside from the outside as well. But again, it is still intact so no big deal to us.

We use this for our main line from the generator to the working area when we have the air compressor, saw, drill etc out on the job with no power. We easily run a full 15 amps through it with peaks of 20-25 amps many times when the air compressor kicks on while another tool is being used. You can definitely tell the voltages stay higher than the the 12 gauge cords we have. Its nice peace of mind to have the 10 gauge available during those times.

I have another HF power cord with the same problem, the 3-way receptacle just does not work well. It is very difficult to make a connection. That aside, this cord is about the price of copper, and you just can not beat it for a 10 gauge extension cord. The power indicator light is very useful.
