Slim Wall Mount Battery Charger

Looking at the other comments it seems I'm not the only one not enjoying this product. I've charged batteries in this thing a few times and it does the job. But the red light came on at start and never shut off, even after a full night charge for AA size batteries. Also the light never turns on if only 1 or only 3 batteries are inserted, so not sure if its working or not like that.

I bought one of these since I have a large number of devices that require either AA or AAA batteries (or larger cell sizes that can use the AA to C/D battery adapters, also from HF) to go along with several other chargers I already have. Like the other inexpensive chargers I already had, it's not automatic and needs to be timed, otherwise it kills batteries. However, it does get the job done fairly quickly - 4 2300 mAh batteries can be fully charged in as little as an hour and a half from around a 5% charge.

Nice little charger. Seems to work just fine, except that you need to keep track of the time you charge the batteries because the charger won't stop charging your batteries. The manual states that the lights won't go off even after it's done charging them and it's true. Kind of scary if you forget. So this is not a smart charger. I do like the fact that it's small just like my previous 1 hour charger which just happened to start cooking my batteries and just deformed and killed itself while charging. So this is why I got this one, but unfortunately this one doesn't even have a timer and this is why it only gets 2 stars. Please get some more of these with timers and/or 1 hour chargers with timers for safety. So far there are only three chargers here and the others still can only charge four batteries but are just too big so I rather get the smaller version. But if they get some for like 8 batteries then I may look at the bigger charger.
