I bought this at the HF store to put in 2 or 3 shelves to hold pistols. Good shape out of box. Walls are solid but locking mechanism very cheaply made. I returned because I was frightened by others saying locking mechanism unreliable although mine worked fine out of the box. Mainly returned because with door closed the clear depth front to back is only 10.25" and would not take many pistols stored vertically on rack.

Using to to safely store my handguns. I can store 12 handguns in this safe by using (2) 6 gun racks and by using the adjustable shelf.

Package arrived badly damaged. No damage however to the actual safe. I ask customer service to not leave package if no one's home. They left it at my side door. Luckily enuf, it was there when I arrived home late after 9 pm.

This was a great value with a 20% off. HAs fuctioned great, only problem has been the battery connection was a little loose but was a easy fix and has been working flawlessly since.

I use this safe for basic security of jewelry and homeowner documents, birth certificates, wills etc. Mounted to the floor it ensures my valueables of a security threat.

This unit is better made than everything else I looked at and was much better value for the dollar. I wanted to use this safe for secure storage for my 3 revolvers and ammunition; therefore I could not use a unit that was fire rated because those units retain moisture which is detrimental to both guns and ammo. The only annoying feature is the beeping of the key pad. I quickly removed that feature by prying off the speaker on the circuit board which is located behind the door panel. Now I have a silent safe which is even better. You can not find a 1.5 cubic foot safe anywhere for this money at regular price.

I have owned one of these for about 5 years now. Bolted to my shelf and to the wall in my closet, so its about 4 feet off the ground. Just the right height to access. There is no way anyone is going to get to it unless they rip it from the will and shelf that I bolted it to.

I have several small safes and this one is hands down the best. Especially for the price. I agree with everything that has been said about this safe. It's great for a small floor safe. It mounts to the floor without any problem.
