Set up is at the front of house and when my grandchildren visit, they make comments that they have them (cameras) at school. They don't know it isn't real. Thought about buying another or two for the rear and side of the house, near the automatic flood lights.

This dummy/faux security camera looks very real in my opinion. It looks so real, that my next door neighbor asked me as to who installed it for me and how much it cost. I told him that it is nothing more than a fake camera. He was impressed.

Was having trouble with someone breaking glass on cars and buildings on my property. Since the "cameras" went up nearly two years ago, the breakage has ceased. Bought some similar looking cameras from another source and they were very cheaply made and fake looking--they were returned. These are mounted outside in the weather and have held up extremely well, looking as new as the day I bought them. The blinking red lights are a real bonus, calling attention to the cameras and adding a degree of realism. However, change the batteries as soon as the lights quit working to avoid corroding the battery terminals (which can be fairly easily cleaned, if necessary). Regular alkaline batteries seem to last about six months. A solar cell would be nice to shut off the blinking light in the daytime, then the batteries would probably last a year.

looks real and easy to set up..led light blinks every 5 seconds..very bright led light (red)

Gave my kids instant piece of mind. (I didn't explain what the word "imitation" means! Quick to setup, red LED is bright. We'll see about battery life. Takes 2 AA batteries.
