Purchased one for our built-in garage work room four years ago. We average 10-12 outages each year, and this product has never failed. The power goes off and the lights turn on every time! After 4 years, it is time to replace the battery for the next four years of use. Thanks for such a great product HF!

I purchased one of these about 7 years ago. No lie: It has been unplugged for at least four years (my bad), and the other day I turned it on. Would you believe the batteries were still going strong, and the light lit the inside of my 30x40' shop very adequately for emergency operations!

Just ordered another for the storm shelter at my sawmill. AAA+ product, Harbor Freight!

I‰Ûªm glad Harbor Freight still sell these because I am now able to leave a review of the Hallway Emergency Lights from real experience.





At least two years after purchasing three of these lights the power went off. Our home was the only house on the block that appeared to still have the lights on.





One neighbor later commented that she noticed that we had electricity while all of the other homes around us were in the dark.





Actually, our power was completely off also and it was our emergency lighting that she was seeing light up our rooms. I finally caved in and told her about these lights and now I‰Ûªm not the only person on the block without reserve emergency lighting if the power fails.





The option of having one or two bulbs light up will extend the battery life when in use but I have always had two on. (Pointing at a front window, hahaha) Kidding aside it‰Ûªs important to test the lights using the ‰ÛÏtest button‰Û� every few months or so. So far I have had no problem with either of the three that we purchased.





If you ever have a problem with anything they sell, Harbor Freight will refund or replace the item according to their very generous terms. If you keep all receipts you should have no problem. Personally my light receipts are in a baggie and taped to the back of one of them. I haven‰Ûªt needed the receipt but I know where it‰Ûªs at!

I have 3 of these Emergency Lights, I like the fact that they have switches to turn the lights on and off individually to conserve power if needed and a handle on the top to carry around if needed. I use it as a shop light sometimes or just walk around with it when the power is out.

I am just starting to see bad battery life in one of them it just doesn't last as long as the others I have bought from other manufactures.

This would be a great Emergency Light if the bulbs where LED I hope HFT does a up grade on them.

Over all this is a good deal on sale! It will get you out of the dark automatically when the lights go out I think every home or shop should have 3 or 4.

I have had this emergency light for a year now and is still running strong. Not one battery or bulb replacement. And to Be sitting there in the heat of florida in the un-airconditioned garage is great. It does not light the whole garage,but the important things in the garage you would need to get to in an outage. It is not as stylish as the more expesive ones but is great for the garage.

I hiave had mine many years and the battery finally went . Replacing the battery was very easy. The only real problem was trying to replace a bulb. Because I only leave one light on I only wanted to replace as a fallback light
