Goatskin Driving Gloves

These gloves may not look stylish, but they do work far better than I ever expected. They fit comfortably, and provide VERY good sensation through their fairly thin and soft goat skin leather, just what I've been missing when putting on snow chains or doing any other fine work in the freezing cold. Despite their thinness, they do provide good insulation against both cold and hot, though they apparently don't come water-proofed.

I actually bought them to be able to hold my hot steering wheel and shifter in the summer, but found them far more invaluable in the winter, as I scrape the ice off my windshield and grip my freezing cold steering wheel on the long cold drive to work.

I even like them as light work gloves, as you can feel what you're doing unlike standard work gloves, without resorting to bare-hands and no protection at all.

On the downside, the fit is a bit loose, so I'd prefer a medium size if available. And a minor annoyance is all the white bits inside the gloves that fall out all over the place. But I'd still highly recommend everyone buy a pair. I'm here to order a couple more.
