THESE SETS ONLINE KEPT SAYING ON BACKORDER SO I CALLED MY LOCAL STORE AND THEY HAD ABOUT 5 OF EACH SET SO I PURCHASED THERE

this product is great, can't beat the price for what you get. nothing has broken yet. my sea kit has the plastic case and teh metric has the metal case. I like the plastic case more.





anyway... if you need this set or the metric set just once, and it saves you from calling someone for help, it will have paid for itself.





A+ must buy.

used a 10' cheater to break a cylinder nut on a 580 k backhoe and it held up to take it off and to put it back no complaints

I bought this set along with the Metric set. Although I don't use them often, when I do, they work great! Heavy Duty & Well made! I Definitely recommend this set! It comes in a Black Plastic Case now and it is well strong enough for these sockets. The case has Two clips on the front and one on each side.

stamping over flash inside the sockets are not removeable from inside the stamped forgings,keeping any of them from being able to use the full depth of the sockets.both the ratchet and breaker bar failed on the first use taking the blade nuts off lawn tractor blade spindles,also they should be 6 point not 12. the inch sized ones felt more metric then standard on bolts and nuts

Bought this set about a year ago and have had very good results. The only cons to it is that the case is a bit flimsy, the sockets are twelve point, and the ratchet mechanism has too much space between clicks...feels real loose. There is a little bit of casting seams and some removal might be required, just one of my sockets had a little that interfered. All in all for the money...a good buy.

The sizes of the sockets are 7/8" to 2" - if you look in the manual PDF it shows all the items you get with the set.

You can't go wrong for the price. I would have given 5 stars if they used 6-point sockets.

The plastic case was cracked and broken inside, just from the weight of the tools. The plastic is so thin, there's no way it could ever work. The wrenches, extension bars, and sockets all look beefy. They don't have a highly polished finish, but they look fine to me. There were little sharp tiny burrs of chrome on the edges of some of the tools that scratched my skin pretty badly. I put on some leather gloves and rubbed the sharp little burrs off, and now the tools are fine. They're a good buy if you need them, just plan on storing them in something else.

I bought these after needing larger then a 7/8" size for a side of the road project. The case is not strong enough and has holes punched through the outside from sitting in my trunk. I have yet to really need them, but have used them a hand full of times and has helped out quite a bit. I with it came with a 3/4" to 1/2" drive reducer to make it a better all around kit. I plan on buying the 9 peice larger socket kit that goes along with this. Finish is okay, but looks cheap.
