I'll start by saying I should have bought this dolly a long time ago!

I have a 6.5' x 14' single axle trailer. It is heavy built with a 3" top rail and a fully wrapped frame. It's a dovetail trailer so when I move it by hand (standing inside the tongue), I lift it high enough to be comfortable to move, the dovetail drags the ground.

I picked this dolly up at a nearby HF about 3 months ago and love it. Got it for a great price, much more reasonabe than at other stores. As the other reviews noted, the instructions are pretty weak. I've encountered this with other HF products, but simply kept the box in front of me and used the picture for an assemby reference. The hardware doesn't include any flat washers so I picked up several M10 and two M12 washers. The bolts are plenty long to accept a washer on each end.

The cushioned grips are a nice touch. The 1 7/8" ball works just fine on my 2" coupler. No issues with my tires after 3 months of use, still holding air just fine.

With this dolly, I can precisely manuever my trailer anywhere I need to get it. No more manhandling my trailer and straining my back!

Bought this to move a couple trailers. I have a 6x10 box trailer and Tracker boat trailer with an aluminum 17.5 ft TRACKER on it. This dolly does exactly what I wanted it to do. Lets me move the trailers in and out of the garage/shop by hand without having to use the truck. At 65 years of age I'm not a mass of muscles. :-) I roll one or both out onto the apron and use the full garage as a shop. I love it! Hangs on the wall on a hook out of the way till needed. Get this one, for sure!

With 4 trailers in a narrow space they are hard arranged in the order needed. The dolly is a wonderful tool for easily rearranging the trailers or bring one to the truck. It enables moving the trailers at angles that can not be achieved while attached to a truck. The dolly has saved my back and I would highly recommend it.

I use this to pull my small sailboat and trailer (total weight 420 pounds) from under my deck which is a slight uphill pull on pea gravel and up a grassy hill to my driveway. It works very well, and saves my back a lot of strain. Even though trailer is made for 2" ball, the 1 7/8 on the dolly works just fine.

Assembled in less than 20 minutes and for the sale price, this was great value. Interesting that the assembled picture on the website places the V brace lower than the diagram in the users manual. I have it in the lower position, and it works fine.

Great dolly that works great. I can easily move my 3,000 lb trailer with this dolly.

As for the instructions, If you really need instructions to assemble this then you probably shouldn't be buying this or any other mechanical item. It's a piece of cake to assemble without instructions. It's pretty self explanatory.

WE HAVE HAD THIS TRAILER DOLLY FOR 7-YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. WE SAW ONE SIMILAR TO THIS AT THE BOAT RACES AND THOUGHT THIS WAS A GREAT IDEA FOR US. WE HAVE A 5x10 TRAILER THAT WEIGHS 980 lbs. I HAVE MANEUVERED IT ON A CONCRETE DRIVEWAY, IN PEA GRAVEL, AND IN 2" RIVER ROCK - EMPTY AND WITH 1800lbs. IN IT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE THAT HAS A TRAILER. I MIGHT SUGGEST THIS UNIT WITH A LONGER THREAD NECK W/ WASHERS AS SPACERS TO RAISE THE BALL HIGHER.

This is a great dolly. For the price you simply can't go wrong. I use it to pull my 3,000 pound camper out of my yard so that I can hitch it up to my truck & then back into the yard once we get back from camping. My camper has a 425 pound tongue weight so I can tell you that it will hold up to the weight. It's a must have if you have a trailer with some weight to it.

if you use this product accordingly to it's weight suggestion.... as Charley Sheen would put it " WINNING ", but if you need more- BEEF IT UP. You have the intelligence or find someone that does. You can improve most HF products with a little ingenuity.

The instructions sucked and you had to look at the picture to figure out how it went together. I can now move my large landscape trailer around with very little effort.
