This is a great set with a great range of sockets. I love that they are deep wall. The metal seems very strong and durable, and carries an amazing price tag. Similar individual sockets at big-box stores sell for the same price as the entire set here. I use these with a hand 1/2 inch drive ratchet.

My brother has expensive tools and swoons over them. I purchased these HFT impact sockets figuring there is no way I could ever push these to their limits and break.
They fit, they are a awesome price, I have more sockets and spent a fraction of what my brother does. We had a stubborn nut on a Dana axel, he broke 2, and I got the nut off using the impact sockets and a (quality) extension. Save your money, buy the impact sockets. They are more than you need for the home garage.

I had my doubts about buying these "cheap" sockets but let me tell you something if you'd spend $200 more on a set you'd get the same exact set.

I recently installed three 40 story elevators over last few months and used the 15/16" socket consistently everyday. I did the math and in totally that socket tighten 4,032 5/8" bolts with a impact gun that provides 325 ft/lb of torque. that number doesn't included all the bolts i tighten with my long handle ratchet.

The numbers don't lie folks these sockets are the durable.

I bought these for my Father in law. He had an impact gun and no metric sockets. I found myself using them to remove an oxygen sensor that was rounded off by another name product. These fit very nicely against the shoulder after I used a HF cutoff wheel on a 4" grinder to shorten the sensor. I found the 22mm size to be the only socket that would remove it. What an unexpected life saver. Made my weekend go so much easier.
( I also had to use a torch to heat it cherry red ) I didn't like the ring made into the bottom of the socket, it just seem to shorten the depth of it, thus I had to use the grinder/cutoff wheel for my application.

I use these sockets everyday and never have a problem. Fit nice and tight on bolts and nuts with no slop. Haven't busted any but if you do they will replace just like any truck tools for way less money. The guys with big name tools have no problem using my sockets.

I have owned this socket set, along with several others of the same type from HF (both 1/2" and 3/8" drive regular and deepwell in both metric and SAE) for over 5 years. I use them ALL the time and LOVE them, especially for what I paid for them. These are totally worth it!

I bought these back in 1999 when I was a ASE mechanic and I was skeptical at first but I have had them all these years and still reach for them. I have never broken them (I have lost a few) and when i thought of replacing them for a new set, I did not hesitate to look at harbor freight. They are great for any tool addition. great price too!!

I'm a diesel truck tech and while I don't have the need to use mine all the time, when I do, I never have any problems. The finish on them is rough, and will come off over time. My 15/16 gets used the most and the finish is off of it fairly good, you can clearly see metal in a lot of places. They're not as refined as Snapon, but will do the same job from my personal experience. If they hold up like they have so far, and as long as I don't lose any, I probably won't have to buy any kind of 1/2 drive deep standard set again. Great buy for someone who wants a 1/2 deep impact set without spending tons of money.
