Description

These carpet cutter blades replace blades on bigelow-style carpet cutters, such as the Central Forge Carpet Cutter, and can also be used as rotary cutter blades. The blades are sharp enough to provide smooth, even cuts and are 1-3/4" in diameter and 0.017" thick. These carpet cutter blades are ideal for cutting carpet or quilts.

I don't use these as carpet cutter blades, I use them as rotary cutter blades for my olfa cutter....fit great and cut well!

I agree with the last reviewer - these blades fit our 45mm cutters and are very sharp. Someone had said they thought they dulled faster, but I haven't noticed. Hey, at 1/8th the price elsewhere - worth changing the blade more often!

I ordered 20 pkgs (40 blades) and have opened/used 20 blades and have NOT found a decent blade in the bunch! What I thought would be a good deal was a total waste of money.

I bought these for my rotary cutter to cut fabric for quilting. Some seem to have good luck, I did not. Both blades had small notches or were uneven. It frayed the fabric and when you rolled over the "bump", it didn't cut at all. Probably good for carpet, but not quilting.

I ordered 25 packs only received 23 still waiting for 2 more pacs. Opened first pack to find rear packaged blade had a 1/8 inch chip in it. The other blade was so dull it wouldn't cut paper. I haven't opened the other packs yet because I don't want open blades unprotected. Even at the low price this is a bad product pay the extra money purchase better blades.

After reading the reviews from quilters, I ordered 5 packages(10 blades). I've only opened 1 package & both blades had dull spots which frayed rather than cut the fabric. I'm sure this wouldn't matter for cutting carpet. I'm hoping that some of the remaining 8 will be usable. If half are good then these are still a great buy but I'm not hopeful.
