I installed 2 of these on my Harbor Freight flag poles, and they work great. My flags are visible from my bedroom window at night, and it's amazing to fall asleep knowing Old Glory is flying its colors proudly through the night, like God intended.

MOUNT CLOSE TO FLAG AND ON THE PREVAILING WIND SIDE. VERY HAPPY WITH SOLAR FLAG POLE LIGHT. IT CAN BE FLUSH MOUNTED ALSO. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE

I had this lihgt for a few months, worked as advertized. The battery must have ssstarted to go a while after, because the lightt began to fllash at night. It was iritating at first, but nwo im used to it and ive got a disco flag at night! 80D

After 3 week's it woorks good and as long as you keep the solar panel facing south the light stayes on all night ,I am pleased with the light so far.

Just got this kit today, out of the box looks like it should do the job. One thing you will have to do if you order it for the 20ft light pole is buy smaller clamps to mount it to the pole, these are way too big. Will post another comment later after I get it installed.

Everyone knows that solar lights are a compromise right? The only reason we use them is because they are cheap & easy to use. Just open the box, assemble and stick them in the ground or attach to a fixture.
We all know that the light they produce is marginal at best. They don't last much more than one summer, and who hasn't bought several at one time and had to bring at least one back due to not working straight from the box. So, if you are good with all the above mentioned traits, go for it, but just don't expect them to give a powerful light, strong enough to light a flag that is 20 feet high, at the top of a flagpole.

Purchased two for use on two of Harbor Freight's 20' flag poles. It must have been designed for postage stamp size flag mounted on a toothpick. If it produced a decent amount of light it would be great.

IT CHARGED GREAT, WORKED JUST RIGHT, BUT TO BE VERY VERY HONEST....IF YOU ARE BUYING TO SHINE ON YOUR FLAG, THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU. WE SET IT UP LAST NIGHT, AND IT IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GET THE JOB DONE. TAPING A FLASHLIGHT TO THE POLE WOULD WORK BETTER. VERY DISSAPOINTED IN IT. TAKING IT BACK TOMORROW. SEPTBRAT

Charged it for three days, never worked. I can't tell if it is the on/off switch, light itself, or the solar panel.
