Got 1 for Christmas for my shop and it works so well, I bought an additional heater! My shop is 960 sq. ft. and 2 of these heat it very well! Safety shut off turns off propane if the unit is bumper or knocked over.

I don't usually write online product reviews but this unit inspired me. I guess I got a good one. I've had it for four years. I use it in my standard suburban two-car garage here on the Louisiana Gulf coast.

It heats up the garage and its contents in an hour or so on the high setting and keeps the chill off at the low setting. It warms the room up by 20-30 degreess. My garage has large bay windows, and it would probably work even better in a fully walled space.

I leave it in my non-air-conditioned garage year-round. It's hot and humid here all summer long, which can lead sensitive equipment to corrode a bit over the years.

I always leave the heater on the gas bottle. After use, I let it cool off and cover it with an old pillow case as a dust cover and store it in a corner. When I need it, it has always lit the first time, every time.

It was reasonably inexpensive and it has been trouble free. Great unit.

Great heater! One tank will last you a long time and provide sufficiant heating for a large area. I even used it to heat my house during the power outage (not reccomended for indoors). I would suggest not buying the two element one. If you find you need more heat, buy an additional single element and you will have two tank supply of propane.

Use to keep me warm while outside smoking a cigar.

Easy to light, very compact, and throws off an amazing amount of heat.

Electric ignition would of been nice, but cant complain for the price.

Not only do I use this in my garage, but took it to the Rose Parade this year . Since tents are not permitted, I set it up near the spot where my grandkids were sleeping in their sleeping bags and it threw enough heat over them to keep them toasty warm. I really liked the fact that if tipped it shuts off. it's easy to use and move. e later moved it to where we were sitting on the parade route and it kept the area nice and warm with surrounding neighbors commenting on how great it was. This was a really great purchase for our family.

Tried another name brand electric heater and it worked a while but never really ever put out the kind of heat this little gem does. Get you a little mini-lp bottle of gas and you're good to go.

Works great in my garage, lot of heat, just make sure your garage door is cracked for ventilation.

This heater is GREAT! Heats up immediately and, because it's infrared, throws the heat over a good distance. Warms up the workbench area of my uninsulated garage like a champ.

This thing is hot! holy cow, tons of heat....I almost bought the 30,000 btu thinking that 15,000 was not enough.
