About a month ago, my wife indicated that she might like a set of binoculars for watching her bird friends. She's got bird feeders set up all over the main property and enjoys watching the birds empty them.

She has all kinds of birds visiting, and buys seed to attract particular types. For the past few years, she's had Blue Jays, and a Male Cardinal visiting. This year she has a pair of Cardinals and a slew of new birds.

I mentioned to her that I saw some binoculars at HF and that we should look in to those. She didn't think that binoculars purchased at HF would do well for her, then dropped the conversation entirely.

A week or so ago, I went on-line and read through the reviews for this set of binoculars. There were only a hand full of reviews, but each of them raved about the quality, and a few of them were written by people doing exactly what my wife planned on doing with them.

I thought it was likely that the reviews were a bit exaggerated, but for the price these binoculars are selling for, it might be worth a chance.

I stopped at HF on the way home from work on mothers day and didn't look at a thing. I simply asked one of the sales people where I might find binoculars, then went directly to them, picked them up, then went directly to the register to check out.

I did then stop to pick up flowers and a card, just in case the binoculars weren't as big a hit as I'd hoped they would be.

When I got home with the flowers, the card, and the binoculars, she immediately opened them and took them to the back porch. She hadn't read the card, nor put the flowers in water. She adjusted them a bit and focussed them on the bird feeder @ the corner of the garage. She smiled and told me they were perfect. She then let me look through them so that I too could be amazed.

I've owned some decent binoculars over the years and was one time issued a set of extremely good binoculars while I was in the Army. I have to tell you, these binoculars rate with the best I've ever used, and for the price, I'm simply amazed.

They seem very durable, focus evenly on both sides, and come with a nice carrying case and lense covers.

I don't believe any of these reviews have over-rated these binoculars in the least. They are simply an outstanding value.

The first thing my wife does now after she sends me off to work and the kids off to school is makes herself a cup of coffee so she can sit out on the porch and watch her little feathered friends through her no HF Binoculars!

I use these daily watching my feathered friends at the feeders under my redwood tree, excellent closeups for IDing the birds. Have used them whale watching and everyone wanted to look through them as they were more powerful and easy to focus than theirs. And, I got them on sale, 1/2 off, then an additional 20% off!! Unbelievable!!! Looked online and they were 10 times the price I paid. Got a pair for my daughter who is a bird watcher too.

I bought these on a whim, after checking them out at the store. Let me tell you that these are some of the best bino's I have looked through ever.
I spend hours upon hours glassing and scouting in the outdoors and seeing what type of equipment and pricing my buddies are using. They are shocked when I tell them about these. Nikon, Baraska, leupould..... used them all. Not any more. Buy them

Clear optics. Easy to focus. I, my uncle and father bought ourselves a set each while on sale for under $20. These binoculars will accompany me on those 5 mile day hikes through the state parks here in Indiana.

These binoculars are an exceptional value. The are built well and the image is excellent with no blurring.

These are just as good as much more expensive binoculars. More than sufficient magnification. Well built and seem to be rugged. No need to buy expensive namebrands just for the name.

I bought these same pair when they were 39.00 and I loved them then, this price I have to buy another for the downstairs
