This 100% poly rope is made of fluorescent material that can be charged by either natural or artificial light to glow for up to 5 hours when placed in the dark! The fluorescent material can be re-charged as often as needed for up to 6 months, making this glow in the dark poly rope great for ongoing construction projects. Comments about HFT 1/4" x 50 Ft. Glow in the Dark Polypropylene Rope:

Picked up 2 of these, neither one glows noticeably in the dark for more than 15 minutes. If you add a uv led aimed along it, it would probably make a decent tent or stake line.

That being said, it also frays a little quicker than the regular 1/4" poly rope, I suspect it doesn't contain any uv inhibitors. Not the best, not the worst, but be forewarned, if you expect this thing to glow noticeably for 5 hours, you may not get your money's worth.

I have some UV leds, so I expect it to work fine for camping and other odd jobs that require a high visibility rope. I don't expect it to last more than a couple of months, and I would not recommend it as anything other than a uv reactive marker line.
