Used a pair of these to jack up a floor to remove a damaged beam in the middle of a house that had water damage and no support on one end. These jacked up a temporary beam high enough to easily remove the damaged beam. We used 1/8"thick x12" long steel channels on top to distribute the load across the temporary beam and it pushed so hard they bent into the wood and left a nice impression.

We used some 4 ton jacks at first, but had to buy two more and decided the 4 tons ones seemed to be stressed a bit too much. These didn't feel like they were stressed at all during the lifting process.

They did their job, now we'll see how long the seals last as they sit around waiting for the next task.

i bought this for my 26ft motorhome (wieghs 12,000lbs) mainly to change the tires and do brake work. from the start, the lift range was questionable but the tall bottle jack was too high to start with. with the jack down and top screw feature raised all the way, pumping it up from there DOES NOT lift at all. i let it back down and added a 4X4 block of wood under it. with that in place i could raise the top screw out feature a couple inches but not all the way. with the screw all the way down, theres not enough room for more wood. this comes very close to lifting the RV. i ended up needing 2 jacks to do the job, alternating them adding wood blocks. then your jack is only as strong as the pile of wood. sadly this is the only jack i could find with the 12 ton rating. a medium hieght jack needs to be made!!!
