The pin configuration is the same as WARN. Only need to take a Dremel tool and remove some of the plastic INSIDE the controller plug, to make a little more room so it can slide down over the female receptacle. Some say the newest WARN products has a dissimilar wire configuration, but those contacts can be sorted and resoldered.

purchased this product to go on a trailking hydraulic tail trailer with a 20,000# winch. already had a corded remote that plugs in the tail of trailer. pulled the wireless remote box apart and found the plug is misleading. only uses 4 wires. yellow w/green stripe is 12v power, blk. is ground, blue is in, and brown is out. cut off the plug and hard wire away!

I used this with the 12000# Badlands winch to pull our docks and boat hoists out of the water for the winter. No complaints. Worked from much further than the advertised 50' with no problems at all. In my opinion, the further you are from the line when under load, the better, and this allows you to be further than the winch's wired controller. Be smart and disconnect the receiver from the winch for safety when rigging your cable. That is my only complaint. I would like to see a safety switch or button cover of some kind.

I installed on Badlands 9000# winch, and will use it mostly for car and truck recovery. I have actually used it 2 times and worked better than advertised. I walked to the end of my driveway, over 250 feet and the winch still activated at that distance, Completely surprised me.

Heavy Hauler is right, This remote works on any solinoid controled winch. Just cut the connector off and hard wire it to the control box. I wired it to a off brand winch and it works fine.

Great product. Didn't work at first. The battery in the remote was somewhat discharged. It tested out at 10.3 volts. Bought a new one and it works very well. Local Harborfreight gave me credit for the battery that I purchased seeing they don't carry the battery needed.

I used the smaller winch with the remote control to open and close a heavy ramp door. I can open and close the door anywhere in or around the trailer with the wireless remote.

I am a tow truck owner/operator and installed it on my wrecker bed to operate the hydraulic winch. Used it last night to winch a vehicle out of a 30ft canyon about 225ft in the brush. this reciever even worked at this range without any issue. Had to cut the main plug off and wire it with a couple of relays to operate the electic over hyd spool valves. I would give it 5 stars if I didnt have to figure out on my own what each wires funtion is. A wire diagram with it would have made it ideal for my use.

I use this remote with my 6000 winch to pull cars on my car trailer so i can steer the car being pulled. I found that when you release the control there is a delay and the winch will pull about foot before stopping...
