      The packaging of these allows you to press the on/off button to check the light output.

      There is really no way to know how long these have been sitting around, or the age of the included batteries, so check them yourself before you buy!

      Just remember to turn it back off!

      Many people think these are disposable, but the batteries are easily replaced, and the L.E.D.'S last a long time.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Bought a TwoPack of these LED Flashlights - First time I ever had such a Bright Light. So easy to click On and Off. Love the Compact size; very easy to fit in pocket. Don't really care about the fact that I need to put 3 AAA batteries back in eventually. Well worth the Price since it's so convenient and extremely bright and the brightness of the light is well focused. Buying Several more today.

      How to repair flashlight

          I've had a couple of these great little flashlights fail, but they are easily fixable. They don't work because the printed circuit board with the LEDs loses contact with the case. To restore contact, press a 17 mm or 5/8 inch socket hard against the lens of the flashlight. If that doesn't do it, unscrew the switch/cap and remove the battery pack. Stand the 17 mm or 5/8 inch socket upright on a sturdy flat surface and put the lens of the flashlight against the socket. Put a board on the other end of the flashlight and lightly tap the board a few times with a hammer. This presses the circuit board against a ridge inside the case. Reinstall the battery pack, screw on the cap/switch, and you should be good to go.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
