This is a great compressor, I've had it for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. Definitely run it in by opening the valve (use a male quick-connect adapter) with the first fill of oil. This allows it to be broken in without putting a load on the internal components. Use it for a while (an hour or two), and then change the oil. It's very loud, but works great for every tool I have used with it, even tools which require higher CFM. In that case, it works fine for intermittent use, just not long continuous use. I've used it with a sandblaster with great results, you just have to give it time to re-fill every so often. Plenty of capacity for most home and automotive jobs, and the upright design is very easy on your back and takes up less shop space.

Make sure you plug it into a dedicated 15A circuit (20A would be better). See the thick cord? That's because it needs a lot of current. It will stall and then blow its own breaker more often than tripping the main circuit breaker if you don't do this, which is actually a nice feature.

I always give 5 stars when a product meets its specifications. This one does.

I rate it 5 because it does everything it's advertised to do. Everything.

But don't think this is a big professional compressor you can take to the job site. It is not. It's for home use. Don't try to do any heavy painting, sandblasting, pneumatic tools, etc. Yes, you can do all these things, but not in heavy-duty quantities. The compressor motor will quickly turn on and run for a long time.

The motor is LOUD! You must use ear protection when around it. And it runs for a LONG time. But if your uses are small, this unit is perfect. I love it! It deserves 5 stars.

So far, I've had this compressor for a week now. Lets get right down to it, it's more than enough air compression, to do what I used it for at least. I bought a central pneumatic air wrench (1/2 drive) to do front and rear brakes. Amazing results and was actually better than I had originally expected. To all you nay-Sayers out there getting what you don't need for more, stop getting what you don't need for more! Read the instruction manual. Had I not seen a professional mechanic use this thing, I would have been scared away.

I read reviews before I Purchased.And decided to Buy anyways.I was very Impressed with Quality of Product,Also follow Instructions and run air compressor for 30 mins without a load(Connect male plug to Air Compressor).This is very Important!,To break in Compressor.After 1 hour of use,change oil(It will look a little milky-This is normal after break in!).This Compressor is More Quiet than my 3gal hot dog compressor!.I highly Recommend This to any body who works on there own Cars or Trucks!...

I have been using a little 2 gallon compressor and got tired of it cycling so often. This unit far exceeds my expectations and it is operating great. To all you Nay Sayers out there read the directions, follow them, and it should work great for a good long time.

me and my wife read all the reviews looking for a compressor for home use. I thought she was going for the 10 gal but she got the 21 gal i am very impressed got it home did minor assembly added oil and let it sit overnight. pluged it in the next day and it runs great! people warn that it is noisy it isn't bad my old belt drive was 5 times louder. timed it from 0 psi to 125 psi. 4 min 26 sec. i am impressed. now i have a compressor that can handle the next project complete restore of a 96 T-Bird.

I have owned this compressor for about a year now and use it all the time! It has stood the test of painting a car, sandblasting, roofing job, numerous reverse brake flushes and general use for blowing out my garage. It powers all my impact wrenches and air tools very well. I have to say so far I am very impressed with the value this compressor has given me.

For the money this can not be beat. I had a choice between this or the WALLY WORLD C/H brand. Couldnt be happier with my choice. This compressor is being used for automotive as well as home improvement projects and has not let me down.

I use it to air up tires, with impact wrench, nail guns, and to blow dust off lawnmowers and chain saw. It is a little noisy but most compressors are. I like the vertical design. Takes up less floor space. Very good compressor for the price. Have had it for several months. No problems so far.
