I've used this on two projects so far and have had 0 jams or misfires. One double fire that was operator error. I recommend this for any value oriented woodworker.

It is amazing how good a product this is for the low price HF has on it. I originally bought the 2-In-1 18 gauge nailer that they offer, but had to return is as it would only drive 1 out of every 3 or 4 nails, if at all. Must have been a product defect.

But this one is different. It performs flawlessly on any type of 18 gauge nail I run through it. I have used HF's house brand of nail, Bostitch and others and there are no problems with any of them.

If I had to list a con to this, it's that the air exhaust diverter doesn't really work all that well. The bulk of the air comes out where you point the bezel, but there is always some that gets out from around the rest of the bezel. So basically, watch your eyes if you're really close in or you'll get an impromptu glaucoma test.

This is a no-brainer. If you don't like it, return it. I use mine at least every week and if it broke I'd immediately buy a new one.

I purchased two of these guns from the Harbor Freight store in Fayetteville, Ga. to put together some birdhouses I am building. This gun works GREAT! I have to be 100% honest about this review. Purchase brand name brads at the Big Box Stores, and this gun will last for a long time

This is the first time I've ever posted a review comment for a product I liked, normally I only blast the junky ones. This little device is a gem. I had never owned a power nailer, and had some concerns going into this.

I jammed it on my 1st pull only because I approached it tentatively and accidentally pulled the trigger twice becuase of the kick back "shock" factor. It was very easy to unjam, and I was off to the task at hand. I laid 300 feet of baseboard, and it worked great...

I did buy the nails at a different place as was suggested in other comments.

Lastly I had never been to this harbor freight store before. A guy at work mentioned it to me. I was impressed with inventory and prices. For items like this that I'll buy with specific purpose and then rarely use again this was as a no-brainer.

I use this nailer to assemble birdhouses and other small wooden objects. I have shot a few hundred nails through it without a single jam or problem. It runs just fine paired with my Harbor Freight pancake compressor. I have just used 1 1/4 brads, but I don't see why it wouldn't do well with 2 inch brads. However, I did take one piece of advice--don't buy cheap brads; spend the few extra cents to buy name brand. For example, I bought Porter Cable brads. VERY good product for a very good price!

I have built quite a bit with this gun now and I really like it....Now that I have Brand name Brads that is.. I bought brads with the gun from HF and they consistently jammed... Soon as i switched, all is well... couldnt be happier with this one...

I bought this several months ago and have used it for three projects - it worked WONDERFULLY. I experienced one jam after setting hundreds of brads. I used 80 psi for 5/8" quarter round and 70 psi for 11/16" pine quarter round and chair rail. This was a great deal. I would recommend this as a 'must buy' (especially at this discounted cost).

Bought this because I could not stomach paying $80 to $120 at another store. Been using for a couple of weeks on my kitchen/dining room remodel. Works great so far. Does not work so well with Harbor Freight 2" 18ga brads. They don't line up right in the magazine. They are glued together slanted. Bought a better known brand and they work great.
