For my Mothers 88TH birthday her granddaughters gave her 2 sets of these solar lights to put up around her small pool. In the evening she loves to watch the lights reflecting off of the water. It's very relaxing.
When her neighbor saw these solar fence lights she went to HFT and bought 4 sets for me to install around the fence in her back yard and she justs loves them.
It's been 3 weeks now and of the 6 sets (24 lights) I had to return only 2 of the lights. Most of the solar lights get plenty of direct sun light w/ a few only getting four hours or so and they last all night.
They are easy to install and easy to remove from the mounting bracket if you would need to take them down. (Make sure you don't mount the bracket upside down like I did on my first one.)
Another plus for these lights, they come w/a 90 day guaranty.

I have had mine for a year now and they have worked great with no doa's or returns. when I first got mine I had 2 that quit working but after taking the battery out and wiping off the ends they worked great. Not the brightest in the world but I haven't seen a bright solar light yet. These work great for what there intended to do, soft path lighting and ambient lighting on a deck or around the pool

I have several of these and they have all worked well. As with many solar powered lights they want to be in full sun. With the built in angle that means you'll only want to use them facing south. But if you give them a good shot at the sun then you should be happy.
I have a few on a playscape, some on a fencline, and I used one to make a lighted address box (toss the clear lens, cut a hole in an address box, silicone the unit on top of the box).
Note: Seal the mounting holes in the back with tape or something to keep the bugs out.

they look good but don't last very long.
two went bad after first week. Light is not very bright so install about 4 ft. above ground.

Bought 4 for our front steps, worked good for first couple weeks, then random after that. Some times they all come on, some times only 1 or 2, some times none.One quit working, brought it in the house to look at, couldn't figure out what was wrong, 3 days later it starts working on it's own. My advise, don't be cheap, pay the $$ & get good ones [@]

Very poor product. Bought and returned several sets ... they'd last about 2-3 weeks. The solar charging circuits were defective. Recommend dropping from product line.

I can only keep about half of these working at any one time. I bought 3 sets, and had to return 7 after a few weeks, then 4 a few weeks later, then I gave up. After 6 months, less than half still work. Nice idea in theory

I bought a total of 20 lights three months ago. As of Xmas 2011, only five are still working. These are very cheaply made with thin plastic. I am suprised Harbor Freight would carry this item.

purchased these in June, first one failed in less than two weeks. replaced by local store where purchased. next two failed within a month, did not bother to replace them, still had two working. but not for long, they both failed by the end of august. it appears to be a solar panel problem, not recharging the battery. if you put in a fully charged battery it would work for one night. when they were working they did a good job of lighting the front and rear steps.
