We just needed a remote box battery and servos to fly a slope glider took the motors off for other uses is cheep for a box and responsiveness works well think about it for just the box.

I bought one of these to try my hand at RC airplanes. When flying one time I crashed it many feet up in a tree. That was the end of that, I thought. However, I saw the plane slowly bouncing down to the ground. Horay!

However, at the bottom of the tree was a small irrigation ditch. Feeling like Charlie Brown about now I watched the plane (from many yards away) tumble into the water.

I found it a few minutes later drenched in water and up against a grate in the irrigation ditch. I fished it out, again thinking, well, that's the end of my yellow bee flying.

I took it home and let it dry out overnight. The next morning I powered it up and was amazed that it sprang to life, the engines fired up and it was good to go for many more flights.

Practically indestructible. I later bought a 3-channel plane that was triple the price of the yellow bee and crashed the flimsy thing after just a few flights.

i got this plane for my 13th birthday , it is a bit flimsy and "weak" but after about 5 , 5 second flights and one taped up wing it flew very very well in an open field .


it takes a while to learn how to land ... its harder than you think ! just glide plane down to about 6 feet and turn off the engine. i highly recommend taping the wings with clear packaging tape , and also never ever fly on a day with wind more than 3 mph...


when you get more familiar with this plane you will be able to do dives and even.. flips! yes flips! it happen to me accidentally when i i pulled throttle all the way towards the wind ... this plane is so so easy to fly when its in the right place at the right time .. this plane is also very durable, meaning if you total the plane, all you need is glue, tape, and you're flying again ... you wont be sorry! great buy!

I have never flown a plane in my life. took this out of the box broke the wing on first try. i fixed it and have had nothing but fun with it. it is not that hard to fly , i watched a couple of videos on you tube that helped a lot. i also got the p51 but have not dared to try that one yet. i want to get the hang of this one first. it is an excellent plane and i recommend it to anyone. has anyone had the battery catch on fire yet?

I had this plane for 4 years now andi must say that the wings are delicate but as far as the controls go its not too hard once you get the hang of it

I bought this for my 8 yo son. he flew it into a 80ft tree and it is still up there. Bought another , crashed it about 20 times,used lots of clear tape, bought another wing.


Now he can fly it 20 times around the park before crashing. Good for teaching aerodynamics . My 6500 hrs of flight time helps too!

I have enjoyed my Yellow Bee plane for a few years now. I just took it out last night after the plane sitting for a COUPLE OF YEARS. Charged the battery, took it out in CALM evening twilight conditions. Had a 10 minute flight. It is a bit squirrley, but settles out if you keep on the course. I think the controls are intermittent at distances further than about 100 yards. It will thermal in a strong updraft, seems strong enough. It won't take off from the ground so don't waste the battery on trying. I have flown radio controlled planes for 25 years, this is a hoot, but it is NOT a beginner plane as far as control goes. The motors control the left/right and of course the up/ and gravity does the down part! I was surprised it flew after sitting for so long, unused. I do believe I left the battery in a charged state but I did recharge before using. Great deal for the money.

I've been flying off-and-on for many years and picked it up again recently. Watching me fly both my sons expressed some interest, so I took a chance and picked up a couple of these at my local store (w/20% off). What a great deal they've proven to be!





I did have to bend the elevator tabs down a bit on both of them because they would climb, stall and drop at full throttle. But other than that they've been great! One of my sons had his way up there (caught some thermals) and the radio worked without an issue. The only problem I see is that the radio won't be reusable in future planes (with traditional controls), but for the money who cares. These are a great way to break into the hobby, heck, even I enjoy flying them, they're great floaters.

This is a great product but brakes. You should try taping the two wings next to the motor on the left. but all that aside its a great starter!
