Easy to handle and control, this micro engraver uses a diamond-tipped stainless steel bit to engrave almost any surface, wood, metal, ceramic and glass. The micro engraver has a contoured grip for comfort and control. This diamond-tipped ballpoint micro engraver is as small as a pen so it easily fits in your pocket or bag.

Good little tool, works on a lot of diffrent surfaces, including stainless steel, battery dosen't last very long though. Great for beginners, or professionals. Doesn't viberate a lot, very quiet.

When I first bought this Lil engraver I was not expecting much for the price ($7.99... I think). We'll it has delivered way beyond what I was expecting. We own a dozen rental properties and I have used this to engrave all of the keys for them. Also have engraved initials on personal property like tools. Metal and plastic so far.... with no problem at all. I wish it came with an additional bit...but at this rate I may never need one! Keep in mind not to press too hard on it... just let the bit do the work.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Im a mechanic and as a mechanic I always like to initial my tools to tell em apart from others tools so I bought it kinda doubting it would work to be honest but it engraved ALL my tools perfectly...highyly recommend
