I've had this since Febuary of this year, I haven't had a problem with it. I load 3 cans at a time, even though it says 6. You can't believe everything you read. I put that thing through hell too because I crush about 8 60 gal bags of cans a week.

Smashed over 10 cases of cans over a 2 week period. Some readjusting of cans was nessasary. Turned the cage so that the opening was to the wall, this keeps the cans from falling all over the place.

Does not come fully assembled as indicated on box; does not crush cans as compactly as most models. Does not sit flat on a countertop or floor. Jury's still out on whether I would recommend as I need to add a small piece of wood to the back to perhaps allow for more compact crushing.

This is an OK product. I have had this for several years now. The multi-stack cage is worthless though. I crush the cans individually. I threw the metal cage away a long time ago. The rest of the unit is OK.

Haven't wasted $9 on anything this bad in a while. "Comes fully assembled" - RIGHT. Can't say how many pieces were in the box. No diagram provided, had to eyeball everything into place. Small pin that holds handle to lever comes out after every 6-7 pulls. Cans fly out of "hopper" if you load as instructed. Basically you can load one can at a time. Half the cans that manage to get crushed become stuck, don't fall into the bag or bin you are collecting them in. Easier to just drop the cans on the garage floor and stomp them.

I bought this can crusher against the advice of hubby. I attached to our shed and was excited to use. After crushing 12 cans the plastic piece that connects the handle to the crusher broke. It was totally useless.
So after many "I told you so" my husband replaced the plastic with metal and now it works. I would not recommend this item, you shouldn't have to rig a product to do what it was intended to do in the first place.

used it for two days before the plastic broke, while it was working the cans popped out of the cage if you put in more than two

Find an all steel, real heavy duty crusher and mount it with all 4 screws to strong wall. Load cans one at a time, giving a slight squeeze to dent the sides and pull smoothly. You will get the job done and be much happier.

Not worth buying bought 2 of them and the part that crushes the cans is made of plastic and it will flip so it will not crush any more . So you have too take it apart to reset it so you can crush cans again. Used for about 3 days before the plunger part that crushes cans messed up again
