A great value.

The 120 volt 3" high speed cut-off tool nicely cut up Simpson Strong Ties for parts. I rarely reach for my Dremel with a cut-off wheel anymore. This tool cuts so much faster. Also, the cut-off wheels are much more durable than the Dremel's.

I haven't, so far, experienced the shut downs others have commented on. I don't know if I got a better unit than some. Perhaps it is because I use 60 grit cut-off wheels instead of 40? I tend to let the tool do the work and not push on it. It cut through grade 8 half inch diameter bolts okay. It took some time, but I can't fault the tool for that.

A big time time saver over a Dremel with its cut-off wheel. Easier to handle than an angle grinder running a 4.5" cut-off wheel. All that and easy on the pocket book. Mine, at least, is definitely deserving of a 5 star rating.

This one tool does so many projects that in the past I would have needed many tools. This is definitely my favorite tool now.

I used this cut-off tool to cut 14 guage square tube. It worked great. Didn't trip the breaker, didn't bog down.

I have used this cut off tool for months now, from cutting sheetmetal,and automotive door skins and auto panels to cutting muffler pipes etc. Perfect machine and lots of power. I use it when I can't get my angle grinder in tight spots. I use it all the time. Small and light weight and has lots of power.

I purchased one of these a while back. Man, was I surprised by the power and cutting ability of this tool! Cut thru a 3/8 chain link twice! Tripped the breaker only once. Handy tool....

great little saw has plenty of power will cut through sheet metal with ease'as long as you dont force it the saw will not trip.cuts great

For the price, you're not going to beat this little cut-off tool. I use it for notching & cutting small, light-gauge tubing, angle, and flat bar. It is also handy for small cut-off jobs. Abrasive discs are cheap and accomplish a lot of cutting before you need to replace them. The switch mechanism is easy to use but locks to prevent accidental startup.

Got stuck doing a exhaust job where the cataylic converter meets the exhaust,yes those two bolts,anyway after $15.00 worth of sawzall blades and a ton of frustration l called a friend and he told me that I needed a cut off saw,went to freight harbor right away made the purchase, immediately after i started using the tool the frustration drifted away like fog,let me also point out that it was the first time ever using a cutoff tool for my application i found the use of this tool friendly and easy cant wait to see what project this tool will rescue

I do a lot of scrap metal stuff and this tool has been great. I have cut almost anything you can think of. It will stop and need resetting if you force it, but use it the way is intended and it is great. I have cut metal close to a 1/4 in thick and everything thinner. Great for cutting while doing body work. FANTASTIC TOOL and GREAT BUY !

I don't know about some of the negative reviews, maybe they tried to the force the cut or possibly they did have a defect. I had no problems with the overload popping out, I took my time and let the tool do the work without forcing the cut. I made many cuts in a short time with no problems. With the bargain of being on sale it is a great value, and does what it is supposed to do.
