This little battery will amaze you! I use in nearly constant-on situations buffing metals and refinishing headlights in 100deg.+ temperatures and this little battery is a real champ:high on both endurance in the most adverse conditions and long life. The best compact battery hands down!

all of these reviews say it wont take a charge after 90 days. i have disassembled several and they use the same 3.6v cells as all the other competitors li-ion pod style batteries, they will actually interchange. the problem is that the charger does not have an automatic stop function. if you leave it on for more than 1 hr, it will slowly incinerate the cells from the inside out by overcharging. solution, put the charger on a timer outlet. using this trick my batteries (i have 3) have lasted over a year, being recharged 5 times a week or more. i have the drill, impact, and flashlight and love the kit. simply dont let them charge for more than an hour and they will last just like a dew@alt, M@kita, Milw@ukee, etc.

do not buy this until they get the battery quality right. I own six batteries and am very disattisfied with them. They cannot be recharged.

Bought the fabulous drill this battery is used for only to have the battery die after 90 days (immediately after normal warranty.) Great drill, iffy battery. I notice another person had the same issue. No question there is a design or production flaw. I hope the replacements (it is currently back-ordered) improve on the earlier designs.

Too bad this only lasted a few months with little use. The Drill/Driver I got it with was awesome, but they need to come out with some improved replacement batteries. Lithium Ion batteries are supposed to last a long time. This one doesn't even last as long as an abused NiCad battery!
