5 Piece 5" Polishing/Sanding Set

I've only used the BACKING pad so far: This hook-n-loop backing pad worked perfectly on a 4 1/4" right-angle grinder (5/8 threaded shaft). I used 50 to 3000-grit diamond polishing pads (from another vendor) to wet-sand/polish a small concrete counter top. Worked flawlessly and survived hours of polishing, still like new. I have NOT tried these discs and polising pad, but they look good too.

NOTE: The product packaging and pad itself says "Max 12,500 RPM" (not 6,000 mentioned here). It worked fine on my 10,000 RPM grinder.

i did not see it at first because it is part of polishing sanding set or kit

i bought the pad to use a 5" surface conditioning disc on a grinder. pad works great and is at a good price. i bought 2 because it works so well.

using a 5" disc is much faster than using a smaller 3" disc

was looking for a hook and loop (velcro) sanding pad. ran search on Harbor Freight web site for sanding pad and this item does NOT come up in search as they call it a Sanding set.

For less than the cost the the 5" pad from other web sites you get a 5" hook and loop sanding pad with standard 5/8-11 thread plus you get some sanding disc and a polishing pad.

me i use it for a 5" surface conditioning disc (scotchbrite) i use for cleaning and polishing with an air drill at 2000 rpm.


....... i would think Harbor Freight would sell more if it came up on a sanding pad search.
