I used this tool and it works great, i used it to cut nuts and bults. cut plastic and sand a small andvil that i have. i even used it to sharpen knife and drill bits!

if u plan on using this tool make sure you let the tool do its work dont force the tool!

I have three of these 12V rotory units and accessories and love them. They are not ment for hogs but if you have time and do not get in a hurry they will do a very nice job. I am a retired heavy equipment repair tech and I wish I would have had these 10-15 years ago in the field to remove small burs, metal buildup,or repair dings without have a 110 gen to operate a Dremal that is larger and not as easy to hold in you hand. These units can be held like a pencil. Thanks for a great product.

This tool is NOT designed to do heavy or even medium type work. It's 12V, for heaven sakes.
I ask my son for this and my daughter for the bigger one. I got a BUNCH of tools and the bigger rotary is GREAT. PLUS the big un comes with several collets so ALL the tools work.
I'm a happy camper.... :-)

I tried to like this thing, but it's motor was so weak that it kept coming to a stop whenever you put the slightest pressure on it while grinding something. Eventually, I tossed it an bought HF's more powerful version (which does NOT come with a lot of accessories.) I kept the accessories though.

Tools heads vibrate since it is machined so poorly. Not useful at all.

Well I bought it thinking it looked like a real good deal. Certainly not the case. It's just so weak it cant do anything, bogs down even sanding wood. The cut off discs shatter easily (dangerous). The diamond bits wear out extremely quickly. The grinding bits are terribly imbalanced. The chuck of the tool is extremely imbalanced. If HF was closer I'd take this back.

I cannot attest to the power or efficiency, because It was dead right out of the package. Defective unit, I guess.

I bought this tool to cut some pvc pipe, and I could not even cut the pipe without the tool stopping. I also tried to drill some holes in the pipe as well, but once again I could not even do that. I am bringing this back to Harbor Freight. Don't waste your money.
