good flame way better of any other products sold in brand name store.. i was using it for sweating 1/2 cooper pipe.. get it you wont be disappointed

Propane tourch is nice it is worth every penny of the 30.00 $$ or so ! Harbor Freight is my toys r us I'm glad the store is five minutes away from me, you can always find what you need it's always clean always well stocked and I must say I have been pleasantly surprised as a customer of theirs that the products they sell have always exceeded my expectations! They sell pretty good stuff at unbeatable prices and if it breaks they are great about exchanges! - how can you go wrong! I Know it's no snp - on as far as tools but I'm not making a living as a mechanic I fix my own stuff when I can and its all the more worth my time when I can purchase tools I need at a unbelievable cost. Thanks for reading And please shop harbor freight as I want it to survive in my neighborhood so I have a place to go shop around and spend few $$$ on cool stuff. The propane torch does all it says it will it's built well comes in nice case, I used it to melt filler (pli•stix) on my driveway and it worked great. I was told about a similar flex hose torch at another store--read complaints that hose was not flexible. Saw this one at HF and rating said very flexible hose, no complaints. HF was half the price of the other tool. Funny, but when I opened the box, the in-between tube had slid under the foam and I could not get the tips to fit on the hose nib--the little tube joins them both. Live and learn. I used the torch to melt crack sealer in the driveway. Easy to move around. I would recommend this. I used a butane lighter to light the torch--worked well. Also, 2 turn-off valves--one at the tank and one at the torch end. This is the perfect solution to working on the driveway where you need a flame pointing down. Keep tank standing up.

Allows you to easily sweat and heat without having to hold the tank. Worked perfertly to heat and unthread hard to remove threaded plumbing fittings. Prvides maximum heat.
The only issue is finding anyone to help you in this Bronx, NY store. This store is different than other Harbor Frieghts in that the only staff available are the busy cashiers. I find myself roaming the whole store to find an item. Wasn't like this when it first opened!!! (A store directory so we could find products could be a start !) Unfortunately, unless you want to travel to Long Island or Connecticut, this place is all we got.

Very happy with the torch kit. Just what the weekend handyman and hobbiest needs when a pencil torch can't do the job. My only complaint was the 6 day delay in shipping my order and then 7 days in transit. Online orders should process much quicker and ship more quickly.

This is a nice medium size torch thats a lot easier to control than the xlarge weed burner, it seemes to be similar in size to the bernzomatic JT680.
The box is extremely cheap, the pipe and soldering rod attachment are useless , but regular torch head and fan flame will come in handy!

For the price you can't go wronge,keep in mind this is a small torch and it has it's limitations. I have found that it also works good with MAPP gas if you need more heat since the tips are steel,not brass. Also keep in mind it dose not say it's designed for Mapp gas.Dose what it states and more,Very happy with it

I know its not the intended use for the product, but this little torch works for everything from soldering to lighting campfires. The torch is fuel efficient and best of all it uses standard camping equipment propane cilenders. the torch could have a longer hose but some faults are more than acceptable
