Designed for professional racing teams, the rapid pump 3000 lb. capacity lightweight aluminum racing jack is crafted from precision-machined, high-strength aircraft aluminum billet. The aluminum jack features a 5-3/8" front roller wheel for quick and accurate placement while the rubber 360 degree rotating pad prevents marring. Ranges from a 3.5" minimal saddle height to 17.5" in just six pumps.

The $60 HF jack is great because it is only 25 lbs - but the mechanism to lower the car is too sensitive and tough to modulate - therefore just know the car WILL drop quick - also note that the max lift height is 14 3/4 inches... So yes it's good for track and autocross days... but for getting the cars onto jack stands - that might be a tougher proposition...

I had the $60 jack for 30 days and then I jumped up to the 3000 pound aluminum racing jack which was sold to me for $112.

This jack is more solid than the smaller jack... and it lifts significantly higher... also, it is much easier to modulate the lowering of the jack...




Also in speaking to a wheel refinisher here in MA, who uses the HF jacks... They generally fail within 10 months... but he said they use the jack on average for 30 to 40 times a day , 6 days a week... which is my book is pretty darn reliable!!
