This gear oil pump enables you to easily dispense a variety of gear fluids including gear oil, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, hydraulic oil and compression oil. Constructed of durable ABS plastic, this gear oil pump is designed to fit all Sta-Lube quart, 1/2 gallon and gallon containers. The pump dispenses one fluid ounce of product with each depression, allowing for easy measurement.

How did I live without this?

I wasn't expecting much but this thing screwed onto both quart and gallon size plastic gear lube bottles and I made changing all those fluids super quick and easy. It has two different depth tubes that come with it short for quarts, long for gallons. Don't lose these! The only thing that would have made it better would be a metal hooked end so you put in the diff or trans and let it hang while you pumped to fill. Overall excellent value. Thanks HF!

Does not fit non-Sta-Lube quarts

Does not fit non-Sta-Lube quarts such as Mercury outboard gear oil for lower unit.

Works, but poorly made

It does pump. but the hose comes off because of poor construction. The fill tip came with an obstruction, so it too came off in mid fill. The tip is supposed to hold itself in the fill hole, but doesn't. The pump is ONLY compatable with the Sta Lube bottles which isn't helpful if you are trying to add anything else. Not a total loss, but there has to be something better.
