These things are perfect for holding square and round tubing together while welding.

I pull these out to use any time I need to weld something together at a 90 or 45 degree angle, and can't easily otherwise clamp my work in place.

The magnets are powerful enough to hold work with the tools flat outer edges, but are recessed so they'll hold round tubing together even more tightly.

They do an outstanding job holding metal in place until it's tacked together, then can be easily moved out of the way and repositioned for the next weld.

I don't do a lot of welding, but when I do, I can never seem to have enough of these around.

Their usefulness can't be beat for their price!

I used the magnet to hold sheet metal for butt joints. It held the pieces level and I was able to do the work a little easier. I would recommend this its cheap enough and work fine.

Overall happy but I don't think it holds the full 25lbs. Be careful welding too close to it though as the magnet portion will melt!! I have probably 6 of these and they work great, just a bit of a "learning curve" lol

This item, quite frankly, is a joke. For its size and weight, you would expect it to be able to hold something more than a can opener! Bought it - and threw it away the very next day; useless.
