I'm a repeat buyer of these. Basically they're good for small jobs. For larger jobs, an angle grinder works much better. I don't have a problem with slippage like other reviewers. Most likely this is because I use two other worn down disks as spacers behind and in front of the actual cutting disk. This makes it more rigid and provides more surface area for the mandrel to grip.

I used these disks to cut almost two feet of spring steel. If you don't bend them too much they preform superbly.

These are a lot lighter duty than normal Cut-off wheels: only about 3/32 thick. They will do a good job but , as far as PRICE goes, the exact same wheels are 5 / [$] here in Canada at a HFT imitator store up here that normally charges 50% MORE that HFT. At [$] each , they re OK..at [$]...NO WAY !!

Free would be too expensive. Not centered (vibrates), wheels are weak/wear off quickly, stopped holding the wheel after few minutes of use. Trash.

i tried to cut through a little moped muffler ... it barly scratched the serface before the disk would slip on the screw... so i tried to tighten the screw and it broke. hopefully i can use the disks elsewhere so it's not a total loss

I should have followed my intuition when I bought these; It told me not to buy them because they wouldn't be strong enough to cut metal... and it was right. I saw some better ones elsewhere...
