I am not an empolyee of harborfreight at all.
I bought one of these 6 years ago and it is still going strong. It did act like it locked up once, I took the cover off the end of it and found that the mag came off. I put it back on, put the cover back on and it's running like a charm. The only problem I have had is moisture building up in the filter. I also own 4 of the brushes and find them to be very good. No complaints at all.
I like it so much that I am going to go buy another tonight so I can have 2 running at the same time for faster color changes.

I just purchased the 1/5 compressor w/ the deluxe airbrush today. This is a dual action airbrush. First thing I did was watch some you tube videos on how to clean the brush. For a first time user of an airbrush, it was intimidating but was a lot easier than imagined. I use it mainly for painting R/C bodies. After a little practice, I did some painting tonight. Very nice action and laid the paint nicely. Would highly recommend.

I've been using this product for about a month now and it works great!


I think that its just as good if not better then the high dollor ones out there.


Its well worth the price.


Its very easy to use , but it also helps if you have knowledge of airbrushing.

I bought this a couple of week's ago. I like it very much. Works real well and is easy to use. Just hook it up and go. Beat's those 300.00 Dollar sets. Well worth

using. Helps to have knowledge of airbrush.

I've been jonesing for this kit ever since I saw it in the store about a year ago, but I didn't really have a need for it. My wife has a thing for dragonflys, so I started a project to make one from scrap metal. For my first attempt, the project looked good, but it needed some color.
I went down and purchased this airbrush kit. The compressor is very quiet and provides ample and adjustable airflow. As a first-timer, the brush took some getting used to, but with about 20-minutes practice, I was able to get good results shading 6 different colors (also got the quick-change airbrush kit Item # 93506 - wished it had glass bottles though).
I used acrylic airbrush paints and had no trouble with them straight out of the bottle. It took some time to get used to the trigger. After that, coverage was uniform and precise.
I took the airbrush completely apart to clean. The trigger was a bit tempermental to reassemble, but it actually worked better on my second project.
I was disappointed to find that the 1/4" hose adapter would not work with the 1/8" hose included with the quick change kit - even though both are from central pneumatic.

Great little unit for the price. I've had mine for a good 5-6 years. I use it for spraying glazes and underglazes on pottery with a dual action airbrush. The unit is a little noisy ,but not too bad. It has a auto shutoff that works fine and a thermo shut off it gets too hot. I use the airbrush with a secondary moisture trap, the two moisture traps work well together. It has been a great little workhorse for me.

i do allot of car models and have been using this over the last few months its amazing only thing i would like to see is the ability to adjust pressure down to 30-35 psi other than that i would suggest getting another water filter and a chunk of extra hose and put in a inline filter instead of the one it comes with i dont get too much water in the paint but every once in a while i do and it pisases me off

not a bad airbrush for someone getting started with dual actions. the price is great for the compressor alone so you could consider the brush free.

I bought this kit to learn airbrushing and quickly became very frustrated with it. The compressor runs constantly when using the brush due to it being a "demand" compressor. It was impossible to adjust the pressure down to a point where I could get a fine line and it takes too much pressure to push the paint out. Also although it has a filter it doesn't work very well and there is often bursts of water in the paint spray.
Yesterday I bought a different compressor with a 3 gallon tank. The difference is like night and day.
If you're going inexpensive, like I have to, save some money and just get the airbrush, hose and compressor with a tank. You may not save a lot but the savings in frustration will be worth it.
Mine goes back today.
