I was Very Happy with my HF gantry purchase . I've lifted engines , antique printing presses , the watertank off a antique firetruck , the cab from a 1950's 2 ton truck , ect... ! Most projects I do , I do by myself , I don't know what I would do with out this item . The telescoping feature has been Most helpful . The price is a exellant value and quality is exceptional .

Very useful item. Use it to R&R the body on a
street rod. I did shorten it 5" so it would roll
in and out of 8' garage door. Could be a little
wider. Paint not the greatest

Very good Heavy Duty Crane. I have a 2 Ton Push Beam Trolley - item #40493 and 880 Lb. Electric Hoist with Remote Control Chicago Electric Power Tools - item #44006. I would recomend using a 1,300 Lb. Electric Hoist with Remote Control Chicago Electric Power Tools - item #2954 instead of the one I got to make more use of the capicty of the crane.

I'm currently building a new Garage/Workshop. My first purchase was this Gantry Crane, 1 Ton Chain Hoist and 1 Ton Trolley. One of the best investments I've made for the new building. I've used it so far to lift the 12ft wall frames and place in position, Hoist and move a 80 gallon vertical air compressor (600 lbs) around while building, and lifted a 4 post car lift (1725 lbs) off the trailer and move it around also while building is under construction. Plenty of height to lift most anything (upper rail is 12'+) It would be nice if HFT offered this in a 2 ton version, for those who work on heavy machinery. Assembly is easy,really needs two people to assemble, one can do it, but standing it upright is better with two. (it is heavy). the only drawbacks I have seen is extending it can be done by one person, but is easier with two. (winches on each leg), and while a pickup truck can fit through it, a car trailer is alittle to wide. (my trailer tires would not fit through it, the bed did). this is a very good investment if you have the room and height to utilize it.

height is great. Wish It was about 1-2 foot wider. Cant fit a standard size Dually Pick up truck underneath. other than that, it seems to be good enough.
