A few years ago I had used the RainX restoration kit on another vehicle and it did a good job but I have to say this kit was easier to use and gave much better results. This kit actually made the headlights on my old 1999 truck look like new. The best part is how much more enjoyable it is to drive the truck at night now that the headlights shine like they should.

Bought kit on sale to try to spruce up my son's 10 year old SVT Focus. All I can say is WOW! Very effortless, just followed instructions and made sure I spritzed plenty of H2O during both sanding and polishing. The lens are now like new, and the car really pops. We spent about 15 minutes total. Very happy and recommend this for anyone who owns a car!

I sanded both 1st, 'cause after pulling off the first pad, its shape became distorted because of the adhesive.
Kept a spray bottle handy and lots 'O shop paper towels.
Kept the sanding pretty wet and, for 4 minutes per lens.
Wiped clean and then used polish.
Kept that a little less wet and also for 4 minutes.
The results are close to new!
I have to admit, for the 20 minute investment, it's great to be able to see the road ahead again!

Works great, and you get everything except the drill. Speaking of the drill use LOW SPEED! 2 - 4 Revs / sec. You don't need much.

I was skeptical at first because I didn't believe that a small kit with sandpaper and polishing foam could do much to improve the clarity on my headlights. I figured I would give it a shot since my headlights were quite yellow and what I paid was not too much to experiment with. I followed the instructions on the bag and watched the video twice which definitely helps you use the sandpaper and polishing pad properly. I was amazed at the results and can now see to the back of my headlight lamps. I would recommend to not wash your car or at least not the front half since it does splash some drops towards the hood and bumper but I was glad to wash my car twice just because of the results I got.

Only time I've EVER used a headlight restoration kit. Wasn't expecting much, but excellent results, easy process, at the right price (cheap!)
Rotating pads do throw water and white polishing cream over front of vehicle in white spots. No big deal, just a quick rinse when finished.
Very pleasantly surprised, bordering on shocked! Didn't expect such good results from this little kit.

This kit takes Yellowed headlights, (my truck is a 1994 F-150 w/almost 200K mi), and clears and crystalizes them perfectly. It only took a few minutes, ( Three minutes for each of two steps on each headlight), sitting on a lawn chair in my driveway at the front of the truck. (I did manage to remove a bit of paint from the surrounding trim through lack of attention, so care is suggested in moving the pads as they spin in the drill.)

This kit works great on PLASTIC covers, BUT DO NOT USE ON GLASS. It is made for plastic only. You will dull and scratch the glass.

Works great. Instructions do not tell you to clean Headlamp before proceeding to the next step.I would suggest that when using the sanding pad after 3 minutes clean head light with water and wipe with paper towel. Wet sand paper again and continue until the oxidation(muddy stuff that you see as you sand) does not appear while you sand, clean with water before you continue to the next step. Had to use 1 kit for each headlight(2004 Hyundai Santa Fe) because the head lights are big.Head lights were not like new but pretty close. A 100% improvement. Its a little messy,the polish cream gets all over the hood and the grill, but saved me probably $200.00 in head light lens. Great product! Going to get another kit for my 1996 Infinity headlamps.
