not bad for the price they work great with metal. i also use it to sharpen my hand saw and the saw works much better now

the only thing is the handles dont fix on some of the smaller files even if i use the small handle but who cares i can always make a wood handle for the files!

When I use the files (a lot) they are fast grounding and efficiant I think these files are a great buy for the price

These files are pretty good, but they didn't arrive in the best condition. A number of units had rust on them and the paint on all the tangs was of poor quality. But a few minutes of work using my power wire brush and they cleaned up just fine. I buffed out the rust and removed the paint then applied a thin coat of light oil to the tangs (not to the file portion) to keep the rust from re-appearing. One other thing to note is the photo shows 8 file handles, but (as it says in the description) only two handles come with the set.

the files seem good. just bought them today. i just wanted to say that the files come seperately from the handles and the set only comes with two handles. one large and one small.

Soft metal, i bent the file in the first two minutes of use. Files shouldn't bend if anything they should snap.
