I use this pump to transfer fuel from extra fuel tanks into my boats main fuel cell while offshore fishing. The only problem is, I need exter O-rings, shaft seals and pumps blades for emergency repairs while offshore and I can't find a way to order parts... There are not a lot of part stores on the High Seas!

i use this working on trucks when they rupture a tank or need to remove fuel from tank/s. It works well for my use and i reccomend this unit to anyone using for the same purpose. It also will empty a 100 gallon tank in very few minutes which is important in our work

Have a heavy duty hand pump to transfer diesel fuels after using my arms feel like Popeye's. The pump is quick and fast. Makes short work out of a long time task.

I'm using this pump paired with a 275 gallon tote for my Home biodiesel filling station. The pump has moved roughly 1000 gallons of biodiesel over the last 3 years without issue.

The pump is 12 volt so it requires a 12v battery to run it. This works out just fine for use in my shed. I use a 45w solar kit (also from HF) to maintain the charge on a Group 24 battery.

This pump kit includes some aluminum fittings for the hose ends and pump connections. Also included is a handy pickup strainer.

Biodiesel will make short work of the included hose so I'd save that for another project. I fabricated a stand pipe from PVC and used the pickup strainer from pump kit on the bottom of the stand pipe. I used a short section of reinforced vinyl hose between the stand pipe and the pump. I replaced the pump to nozzle hose all together with a purpose built Goodyear Hardwall hose.

I used the included nozzle for a while (it has a nice swivel built into the hose end) but it eventually started leaking. I took this as an opportunity to upgrade to an auto-shutoff nozzle.

The whole setup is pretty solid now. This pump just keeps doing it's thing.

Used for fueling my truck with biodiesel from a 275 gallon tote. After the sale price plus 20% off cpn, I paid 103 for it, which then also made the replacement plan cheaper (you'll probably need it). I used the pump about 6 times pumping 20-30 gallons each time, then seemed to lose it's prime, or the bypass valve was stuck open. The motor would run but it quit pumping. It was just past the manufacturers warranty but luckily I had bought the replacement plan so I was able to get it replaced. At the store I was told this latest shipment of pumps has upgraded seals, etc, will see how long this one lasts.

i used this product to transfer fuel from trucks being transported to the one being used to pull others with . pumped less than 1000 gal TOTAL and quit got to be expensive !!! very badly need to have repair parts available for sale at a reasonable price . carry repair parts instead of replacing the entire unit . i had the two year purchased replacement warranty so they did give me a new one however we had some hassel over the two year replacement it was`explained to me that with the one time replacement that ENDED my two year replacement waranty they will replace it one time per time you pay for the exteneded warranty . otherwise the extended warranty is only continued if within the 90 day replacement warranty so.......... i would suppose that one should really take this product back to them each and every 88 days !!!!!!!

Bought this pump in March to transfer diesel to and from my truck tank to my small boat. Transfer around 50gal at a time. Set up and used the pump per the manual, and it worked great for about 5 months...then it started having problems priming. I looked at the vanes and they appear to be completely worn out. I contacted harbor freight and they basically told me tough luck, as it was past the 90 day warranty and they DO NOT sell replacement parts. All I want is replacement vanes so I can rebuild it, as I'm sure it would work fine. So if you want a pump that you need to rely on for only 3 months, this is the one. If you need something for any longer, look elsewhere. Harbor Freight has lost my business.
