I had the regular car dollies, a friend recommend me this one the other one to move the car the front part was hard to move with one person cause the weight of the engine this one I was able to push the car 30ft by myself a 68 gto 40 Plymouth 53 gmc pick up and didn't need no help I wish they where $50 each to buy more right away

I have been searching for a set of car dollies for a while and the only type I was able to find were the hydraulic type. This type of dolly works great when new, but when checking the customer complaints the hydraulic cylinders begin to leak making the thing useless. The Harbor Freight dollies are MECHANICAL. Very clever, easy to use instructions on the dolly. I use 4 of these dollies on my Chevy project car and have plenty of items to restore the last thing I need is to stop and repair equipment that doesn't work anymore.

I must agree with an earlier post. I'm getting up in years (74) and finding it more difficult to lift and align tires back on to the studs.

Loosen the lugs, jack up the vehicle until that tire is just off the ground, then using this tool just put tension on to the tire and pull free.

Where has this tool been all of ny life!

As I am limited in room in my shop these dollies have been a great help in moving my projects and maximizing my space excellent for the price i would diffently recommend to a friend!!

These dollies aren't too bad for the money. The only downside is that the casters could be a little better.

It does a nice job of lifting up tires and aligning the wheel holes with the studs. Infinitely easier than doing it by hand, especially with big tires like my pickem up has.
The downside is just that-going down. It will only go down if there is weight on it- like a wheel. It is far easier to just let gravity do its thing and let the wheel fall.
