Have used this product in several applications and haven't had one problem with tools slipping. It keeps them clean, neat and in place. Very easy to work with and very affordable.

When I bought this drawer liner material a few years back, it seemed to be decent quality mesh material. It only took a year for this stuff to start degrading significantly. Specifically, the bits of the mesh will stain, stick, and/or transfer to anything that remains in contact with for extended periods, such as the bottom surface of the drawer or tools that are infrequently used. I have several tools now that have a mesh pattern "stained" into the metal. I realize that some of this may to the garage/shop environment and contact with residual amounts of various automotive chemicals/oils/solvents etc etc, and they may hold up better in lighter duties. Still, I wouldn't use these on anything that needs to stay super clean.

I bought this and thought they were okay until I bought a name brand. Theirs doesn't slide in the drawer needing constant adjusting.

This product extrudes an oily liquid. It may be ok for metal tools for short-term storage, but it damaged a couple of expensive wooden items when the oily liquid may have reacted with the wood and darkly stained the wood in a polka dot pattern. Haven't been able to get it cleaned.... Don't put anything made of wood on this product unless you don't object to the stains.
