I am using this to polish and deburr aluminum and stainless. I picked it up 12 days ago and already have 10 days @ 24 hours a day running to get out some work I had backed up.
I read other comments about the need to have extra bowls and agree it would be handy to have some. I searched all over the internet and nothing.
While I was in Harborfreight looking at something else I saw that they have the 5 lb bowls for sale.
I picked one up and took it home. I drilled a larger 3/8 hole in the bowl, found a piece of 1/2 plywood that was larger than the bowl base and drilled a 3/8 hole in it. Put the plywood under the bowl and you have extra 5 lb bowls on an 18 lb tumbler. Works for me.

This product works just as good if not better than others costing twice as much. It is quiet and dosen't vibrate off the work bench. Couldn't be more satisfied.

I purchased this item a few months ago and run it for hours at a time. We make jewelry from silver plate forks, spoons, etc. and this machine is worth every penny. I would recomend this product to anyone wanting to clean silver plate jewelry to prefection.

I use this to clean ag and auto parts of light rust and to prep small parts for painting. Does a great job and I blend HF coarse walnut media with alum oxide or abrasive to match the task at hand. Blends described in owner's manual. I am skeptical of anything electric from HF but this vibrates exactly as it should and works perfectly. Best to buy on sale. Only wish is the availability of a second bowl so I didn't have to empty just to change media blend.

I am a custom knifemaker and bought this tumbler for stonewashing titanium frames and stainless steel blades after bead blasting with 220 grit aluminum oxide grit. I throw the parts in for between 5-20 minutes and it gives the parts the desired look I want. I use about 30 lbs of coarse ceramic media and everything comes out nice and smooth. I bought this tumbler on sale as an alternative to the $1200.00 other brand. Seems to work great after several months of use. Deburs parts well too.

it is not a big thing but it chould be more heavy to help keep it from moving on the start up and stops or add a tie down kit other then that it is all good runs good does good is good good good good so good in fact it can do 20lb at a time i know because i have done it and it did fine green cheeks all the way if it ever gose out will get the same type again

I use this every day for deburring small machined aluminum parts, runs about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Going to order another bowl as this one has been running solid for nearly a year and half.

I got this tumbler as a birthday present yesterday and it works great. Lots of capacity and runs smoothly. Currently I am looking for replacement bowls as I would like to just switch bowls instead of dumping and replacing the media.

Look, if you've ever gotten involved with car restoration one of the biggest time sinks is cleaning nuts, bolts, fittings, etc...all the little bits and pieces. Not wanting to spend my life in front of a wire brush I decided to give this a try.IT WORKS! All I do is some very, very simple degreasing with Purple Power, rinse them off in water, let them air dry for a day, toss in the coarse walnut shell media, (2/3 full) throw in the metal parts, seal it up and go do something else. Check back in an half hour, an hour or more, the parts get cleaned very well.What I was most surprised was how quiet it was.It would be nice to be able to purchase an additional bowl(with a sealable lid for storage)but not add $100 to the price like [@]identical model.All in all, well worth the expense.
