I've had this compressor for the past two years and it has been great. Only once it didn't startup because it was about 0 degrees out and the circuit breaker tripped. Reset the breaker and it fired right up. For the size of the unit it smokes many larger ones in terms of CFM flow rate. The flow rate is plenty to run all my air tools with the exception of paint guns. I use it roughly twice a month and have never been disappointed, paired with the HF 1/2" earthquake impact wrench it rips lug nuts off easy.

It is noisy but what compressor isn't?

For the price, size, pressure, flow rate, and reliability it's a no brainer.

Unpacking- it was well protected everything went together very easy. I expected it to be more noisy than it was. First time I filled the tank it took 6 1/2 min. Refilling is very quick. Everything the company advertised is true if anything they underrated it in my opinion. Using it to build a porch and no complaints accept the air filter is a little mickey mouse.

I got this to run ratchets, air gun, and blow off stuff. The price was right and with some enginuity it gets even better. I also run a 10gal carry can that doubles the capacity to 20gal. With that it comes on less and the pump does a great job and shuts off quickly. I even fed it into some steel piping under my work benches and to an air reel. It works for a micro garage perfectly. Man the price is right.

Don't forget to do the break in. Its covered in the instructions but just in case. You put the oil in and open the air drain valve and put in a hose coupler thats open and run it for 30 minutes. It won't build up any pressure and will break in the pump and electric motor. Then it will pump up fast and turn fast.

Bought this and roofing nailer. Worked well the week it took to do the roof. Supplied plenty of air. Ran very little to keep-up the pressure. Great tool for the price.

Done a whole lot of shopping around. Result: This unit currently has THE MOST AIR OUTPUT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE FOR UNDER $350. So you can do the most with it this side of $350. It is also one of the highest air output units that runs on a standard 120V outlet. Got mine with a SuperCoupon for [$]. Bonus to me is that it is portable enough to load in the backseat to take to the home of freinds or family to help with their projects, too. RE: ISSUES PEOPLE HAVE POSTED__1). I have read in my breaker box that most of my breakers are 20A. I have run the unit several times with no breaker tripping. I have also run it on a FAT 25ft extension cord with no issues. 2). All Direct Drive units are loud, as they have to turn the drive 2-3 times faster than a Belt-Drive unit to get the same output. If noise is a high priority for you, the only solution is to spend the money to get a Belt-Drive unit. Very pleased with purchase. To get a better single multi-purpose unit, I'd have to spend more than two-and-a-half times the money and likely sacrifice some portability.

Great compressor if you don't need continuous heavy use beyond a minute. The compressor won't push past 90 psi, but it'll hold 90 very well. It rarely needs oil and runs pretty cool. The essential parts are built very well, and the only cheap things on it aren't necessary for performance. I've roughed this thing up and ran it hard for a while now, however, it still works like new. Good compressor.

I owned it for 3 months and have to say that it has been very reliable ans has given me consistent performance from inflating tires to wood and metal sanding. Did a lot of shopping and nothing compares in price. Because if this purchase, I have become a regular buyer at Harbor Freight and have been purchasing their air tools. All which work without a problem.

I bought this air compressor to run air tools in a contracting business. It performs very well and supplies a lot of air for a good duration of time. We have been using it to run a coil nailer for laying shingles on a roof and it is able to keep up with us all day and does not run excessively at all. Even when it kicks on to refill, we are still able to maintain 90 PSI to our tools and keep laying shingles. It kicks on to refill when the tank drops to 90 PSI and it takes only about a minute to get back up to 125 PSI in the tank. It does not take very long at all to fill to 125 PSI from completely empty, maybe about 3 minutes total, somewhere around that (I always empty out the air when finished for the day, so it starts empty the next day and has to refill). The valve on the bottom is easy to operate, and requires only hand tightening pressure to work. The gauges are clear and easy to read, and the output pressure is easy to set as well.

I especially like this compressor because it requires oil to be used, unlike others where the motors are sealed. I have more faith that it will last when I can check and add oil myself. It uses non-detergent SAE 30 oil.

I have no complaints about this compressor and would buy another if needed without hesitation.
