Heres my story with this thing, I bought it to keep in the back of my truck for J.I.C. First time i used it, i drift started a Case tractor with it that wouldn't start, the tractor started and the strap was still in one piece. Then i pulled down a tree, tree is down and the strap still in good shape. Next, i had to pull a Case 580 super L backhoe out of a ditch and up a slight grade,i bogged down my truck and the strap has SLIGHT fraying. A Case 580 backhoe is just under 14,000 pounds, so i used this strap over and beyond its 8500 pound tow capacity. So, i highly recomend picking this up. If you are contemplating whether or not to get this or the recovery strap, get this. It is cheaper and so much stronger that i dought this strap will snap if you get a running start on pulling something out with this.

Use this product for what it was made for, "TOWING" not pulling cars/trucks or other thing that get stuck. For that you need a recovery strap there's a big differance and the two are used in a different way. you have to be smarter than the tool you are trying to use.

I used this strap with a comealong to pull a loaded 2800 lbs trailer up a slight incline. The strap worked great. Seems well constructed. Good value for the price. This one goes in the truck.

I have used it only once and that was to pull another 4x buried in sand up to the frame,ended up having to back up about 5 feet and get a running start and jerk it out-I am sure that I came close to exceeding the limit.Three other friends had used it to pull stumps/cars and straighten a couple of bumpers prior to my use,it still looks great-no fraying.has already paid for it self.A must for your roadside safety kit!!

I used this strap to tow my truck for 160 miles with ease. The minute stretching absorbs the shock of being towed by a live vehicle. The strap still looked new after doing its job and the hooks w/ clips made it a snap to hook up & untie. I'll keep one in each of my cars just in case.

JEEP CLUB MEMBER I USE THIS ON A WEEKLY BASIS RECOVERING PEOPLE OUT OF MUD HOLES AND SWAMP AREAS
ALSO SAFELY TOWED BROKEN DOWN CARS OFF OF ROADWAYS
AND RECOVERED A FEW SLIDE OFFS THIS PAST WINTER STILL HOLDING STRONG

I have used this strap twice. Once to pull a stuck car out of some deep sand and once to pull up some bushes in the yard.





I threw a lot of abuse at the strap jerking the car out and it shows no signs of giving up! Excellent product for a fraction of what you would pay somewhere else.

I have used mine Several times to pull out cars, Suvs and Other Full size pickups. I actually bought several extra on sale and gave to family members and close friends for Christmas, they all told that they have used them at least once to pull some one else out of the mud, snow or ditch. I keep one in every one one of my vehicles year round just in case.
