I needed to do a valve adjustment on our isuzu Npr and didn't have a socket that was even close to big enough to turn over the crankshaft. Went to Napa and saw the socket I need which was 40mm and cost $18. I thought to myself why not so see if they have a socket like at HF? Well I went there and saw this set was only [$] on sale. Luckily I had a 20% off coupe in my wallet so the whole set only cost me [$] with no tax because I bought it in Oregon. Im really happy I bought this set and even though it doesnt have a 40mm socket, the 41mm worked great to turn the engine over.

I finally bought a metric 3/4" socket set. I own a Kubota tractor and a Hyundai car, and I needed to take the lug nuts off of the car (to change the brakes). I bought my set at a local Harbor Freight store. The good thing is I paid the same price for this metric set at Harbor Freight as I did for my SAE set from a Farm Store 30 years ago. When I got it home, I opened the box, I could not believe how thin and how rough the walls of the sockets were. I don't think the sockets are even half as thick as my old 3/4" SAE drive socket set. This socket set is very poorly constructed. In addition, I had to drive the sockets onto the ratchet. The local store did exchange the ratchet without any problem (although I did have the sales receipt and the box it came in). The one that they had in stock was about two shorter, which I did not care for, but it did look like it was a lot better made, or at least it did not have that rough pitted look. Another complaint I have about these sets are how they skip so many socket sizes. I needed a 21mm (which is a 13/16"). The sockets jump from 19 to 22mm. This set does not have as many sockets as my old SAE set has. To make maters worse, I thought I would just use my 14 piece 1/2" drive impact metric sockets set from Harbor Freight. Again, there is no 21mm socket in that set. I then thought maybe that size is skipped because it is the same as a SAE socket (found out later a 21mm is the same as a 13/16"), So I got out my 14 piece 1/2" SAE impact socket set from Harbor Freight. Guess what--that set does not have a 13/16" socket in it. I now have 3 Harbor Freight socket sets, and I cannot take of one lug nut. After blowing a solid hour trying to figure out how I am going to get these lug nuts off of this car, I remembered that before I bought this more expensive 14 piece metric impact socket set, I bought a cheaper and smaller socket set. This set did have a 21 mm socket. It took 4 different socket set from Harbor Freight to take the lug nuts of this car. I did not mean for this review to go on for so long, but I don't understand why Harbor Freight does skip so many sizes of wrench and sockets. In conclusion, I could now kick myself for not just getting my money back for this cheaply made 3/4" socket set.

I was going to HF to buy my Earthquake (Awesome Impact), I got an entire set, by the time I got home he had one wheel bearing on the ///M3 off so I had him use the HF socket for the other side and it pulled it right off...so Thumbs up again HF great set, great price!

Bought this set 5 years ago and am very pleased. Used for taking off car axle nuts and tractor parts. Have rounded one socket so far which I replaced for half the cost of this whole set! Just bought another set so I do not have to haul this one out to the farm every time I go.Not the best but has gotten the job done everytime so far.

Worth the money

I was trying to replace a CV axle in a honda accord that resulted in a 1/2" drive ratchet and breaker bar breaking, went to harbor freight, got this on sale and it broke the axle nut loose like it was nothing
Great product.

This is a very good product for the price. Very heavy duty - strong enough for almost any job that you'll have to do around the house or garage. I used it when I thought my 1/2 inch set may not have been strong enough. The only gripe I have is that one of the photos and descriptions for this metric set showed a slider bar, but a swivel breaker bar comes with it instead. If the slider came with this set, it would have been perfect for me. I won't return this because the price is still awesome for the set.
