not the highest of quality but for the price i dare u to beat this deal. i carve wood for extra income and try to keep expenses down and this kit does that for me and at the same time gives me tons of extras.. for 4-6 individual bits id spend 20 for dremel junk that looks better but isnt much better in quality. i have sooo many extra items in this kit to do other around the house jobs and even helping out freinds who are trying to figure out how to do random jobs this kit does em all... be stubburn and blow money on other stuff or buy this and be ready for anything in your way... the cylindar cutter i use excessively and that thing holds up to the point where if i didnt know better id pay 20 for that bit alone...

sanding barrels are junk but theres a bunch so u get to finish a few tasks before ur out

I tried all the pieces in this kit on steel, wood and plastic. The cutting discs, polishing discs, brushes, stones are all near first rate quality. The sanding discs work but are not as durable as dremels. The large sanding mandrel is small and won't hold sanding discs firm. The cutter and drill bits are duller but work. The fiberglass discs fall apart with a few uses, 2 of 4 collets don't fit, and one that does holds bits off center. The chuck screwdriver is a bit too narrow for most mandrels. The mandrels are a tiny bit off center and vibrate more than dremels.

Lots of useful bits here. The 80grit flapper bit usually sells for $8 alone, and btw, they're excellent and very long lasting, a must have bit imo. The stones are great, the diamond bits, etc etc. All you really need is some more/larger diamond bits like kit #36252 or #40547, and maybe #31501 if you do a lot of cutting, and you have about all you'll ever need. I use this with tool #97626 (<$8 on sale) and Dremel brand #7300 ($20 @ [@]).

Lot's of useful tools in this kit. None of them are durable, but each will last long enough to get the job done. So many tools and so much variety will get you through lot's of small-scale projects.

This is a great deal for the set! I ordered this along with the flex shaft carver/grinder and am very happy with both. Lots of great accessories in the kit, if you bought the Dremel brand it would cost triple or more! Seems to be good quality, as I have found most of the Storehouse stuff to be.

I use this set with the rotary tool I modified into a tool grinder for my mini metal working lathe. It works perfectly for this application. When not on the lathe, my mounting bar allows me to clamp the rotary tool in a vise and use both hands to move the material against the bit. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this set. Highly recommended!

I bought this and was shocked at how much it has made my life easier. Not a single thing in my house is rusted dirty dull or any form of less than spectacular condition. My only complaint is that the compound is a little hard and goes fast I wish the sold separate containers. Also my rubber polishing bits are almost all gone removing rust from all my tools (lawn tools mainly) however not a big deal because I have saved three that are untouched.

Love this kit, has a bit of everything you might need! Came across same situation with the collet not small enough, but also had it with the Dremel collet & bit. Easy fix that has worked for about 5 yrs. Simply take a small (1/4 to 1/2 in.) wide strip of aluminum foil and wrap it smoothly around shaft on bit, then insert it into collet and tighten down. From that point forward when you remove the bit the foil stays on it and you just snap it back into kit and use as a normal bit. I still have the original foil from 5 yrs ago on my bit and it is used almost daily for pilot holes.
