I work as a bicycle mechanic and I had the shop owner buy one of these so we can stop wasting 15 minutes cleaning derailers, cassettes, etc by hand. So far it's working well, but it's only been in use for 3 days. Using a 10:1 ratio of water to Pedros Oranj Peels degreaser. Most parts come clean with an 8 minute cycle. Any grease left on the part wipes off easily. Really greasy cassettes and chains take two cycles. We'll probably switch to a stronger concentrated Simple Green degreaser as the Pedros Oranj Peels states it shouldn't see temperatures above 120F.

I don't think you can pour liquid out of the tank, it probably has to be scooped or siphoned out. The stainless tank meets the plastic body on the inside and I'm not sure it's sealed so I wouldn't pour water out of this without running a bead of silicone along that joint.

Heater works fairly quickly.

Never, but NEVER, use any ultrasonic cleaner to clean pearls, It will destroy them.

Does a great job, no slouching on results. I'm cleaning clock movements, both assembled and disassembled.

Wish the tank was a little bigger and to have a more worthwhile "basket."

Compared this one to other brands and reloading specific ultrasonic cleaners. Best bang for your buck. Can clean 50 .45 acp dirty brass in 20 min with a pee-soak. Even cleans the primer pockets out! Wait until it goes on sale in-store and it's abot 1/2 off with a 20% off coupon! Love harbor freight!

Great little cleaner, it does what I want it to without any problems. The only criticism I have is it could do with a better basket. The one that comes supplied with it is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

It's a good bang for your buck cleaner. I would prefer a more industrial model but those cost about 5 times as much.
A longer timer would be nice. Tank is a little bigger than I expected. Heater works. It passes the holes in aluminum foil test and you can see the ripple of the sound wave in the water with nothing in it. It has a single round transducer in the middle of the tank. I'm not sure if it reaches in the corners well.
Overall I would say it's a good for the money it costs.

It's the best thing going for motorcycle or small engine carb cleaning, when you use "Simple Green".

I liked this cleaner and am using it for cleaning automotive parts. It works great for small metal parts.
