I have used these chains for five years; one finally broke. These are tough chains for skidding logs, dragging junk around, towing and as tie downs. I still have four of these and plan to go buy a replacement for the one we broke. Very thick plating with almost no rust, a great, tough tool.

This chain is exactly what you expect. The chain itself is very heavy duty, the zinc coating is good and thick and the chain has no rust after a year in the back of my truck. The only problem with the chain is the clevis hooks are too small to hook onto any tow points and are too big to slip through many. They were easily removed and replaced with much larger hooks. Would have gotten 5 stars had it come with larger hooks to begin with.

one review said the hooks did not work with his equipment. usualy the hook slips over a link to adjust the length.also as we all know forged chain is stronger than welded but gives no warning when it breakes. wer as welded wil usually stretch a bit.in any case use extreme care when pulling items things can go very wrong very quickly...
